• Own end-to-end deployment of customer solutions. From initial problem framing through production implementation, you are accountable for delivering working systems on target hardware. • Work directly with customer engineers and stakeholders. Understand algorithmic requirements, system constraints, and success criteria, and translate them into actionable technical solutions. • Translate algorithms into optimized implementations. Take DSP, RF, communications, or other compute-heavy pipelines and deploy them efficiently onto GPUs, FPGAs, and other accelerators using Code Metal’s platform. • Optimize performance under real-world constraints. Profile, debug, and tune systems for latency, throughput, memory, and power across heterogeneous compute environments. • Debug across the full stack. Identify and resolve issues spanning algorithms, software, hardware, and toolchains in complex deployment environments. • Collaborate cross-functionally. Partner with product and engineering teams to improve the platform based on field learnings and unblock customer deployments. • Operate with a “whatever it takes” mindset. Navigate ambiguity, unblock critical issues, and do what is required to move deployments forward in high-stakes environments. • Build reusable patterns and playbooks. Capture learnings from deployments to improve repeatability and scale across customers. • Support on-site deployments. Travel as needed (30-75% depending on the customer) to integrate, test, and validate systems in real-world environments.

• Identify and shape new technical opportunities and architectures that expand how Code Metal’s technology is applied in real-world systems for government and commercial users. • Rapidly investigate new technical domains and evaluate alternative solution paths through analysis, trade studies, and feasibility assessments. • Translate ambiguous problems into credible technical approaches, system concepts, and proposal content. • Lead the execution of proof-of-concept (PoC) system designs, collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders on scoping and providing technical judgment throughout • Find opportunities to showcase product differentiators when building solutions and PoCs for customers • Work across engineering, research, product, and growth teams.

You will be the connective tissue between our customers, our engineers, our product managers, and our growth team, running disciplined project delivery while building stakeholder trust that keeps engagements on track when complexity surfaces and continues to deepen customer relationships. We are hiring a Director of Product Strategy, Commemercial Defense who will be a critical part of our Growth team and own product discovery, direction, and drive outcomes for our commercial defense customers. The Role This is a leadership role responsible for ensuring we are building the right capabilities, for the right defense users, in a way that can be easily adopted and scaled inside the commercial defense ecosystem. You will work directly with customers, engineers, and growth leaders to translate real mission needs and constraints into a coherent product strategy. • Designing and building core components of Code Metal’s analysis and transformation pipelines • Working on tools that analyze, reason about, and transform real-world codebases • Shaping and evolving system architecture as the product and team scale • Collaborating closely with research and product partners to turn ideas into production systems • Writing production-quality code and setting technical standards across the team • Hiring and leading small groups of engineers

• Set front-end architecture and technical standards for a TypeScript/React application. • Design scalable UI patterns for complex geospatial workflows (Cesium) and surrounding app features. • Establish best practices for state management, component architecture, performance, testing, and maintainability. • Partner with engineering leadership to plan, prioritize, and deliver high-impact product work. • Mentor engineers through code reviews, architecture discussions, and practical implementation guidance. • Drive execution: this role is hands-on and coding-heavy, not a “pure strategy” position.
