Cloud Bridge

• Own and grow a contract desk within CBTR, operating as a business within a business — with a clear target of £30k+ MGP. • Win new contract business and convert existing Cloud Bridge consulting accounts into recurring contractor placements. • Build deep contractor pipelines across Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, Architecture, FinOps, Data, AI and Security. • Leverage Cloud Bridge's unfair advantage — tap into an established AWS Premier Partner's customer relationships, strategic partnerships, and consulting team for warm introductions and market intel no standalone agency can match. • Maximise extensions and expand accounts — nurture client relationships to drive repeat revenue and compounding MGP growth. • Help shape CBTR's future — contribute to strategy, develop new markets (including Europe), and grow into a leadership role as the function scales.

• Own and grow CBTR's cloud recruitment practice, operating as a business within a business. • Win new clients and expand existing accounts across the UK, with a clear roadmap to scale into European markets. • Act as a strategic talent partner across cloud and technology markets, not just filling roles, but advising clients on hiring strategy. • Build deep talent pipelines across Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, Architecture, FinOps, Data, AI and Security. • Leverage Cloud Bridge's consulting team, customer base and strategic partnerships to unlock hiring opportunities others can't access. • Help shape the future of CBTR, including building and leading a team as the function scales.

• Coordinate opportunities through the pre-sales and project initiation stages, ensuring smooth transition into delivery. • Support project kick-off activities, including resource alignment, project setup, governance requirements, and stakeholder coordination. • Track upcoming opportunities and maintain visibility of pipeline demand to support capacity planning. • Manage resource requests and allocations across projects and opportunities. • Monitor resource utilisation, availability, and future demand, helping optimise allocation across the delivery portfolio. • Coordinate funding requests, project approvals, and internal commercial processes. • Assist with project financial tracking and governance activities where required. • Maintain accurate project records, documentation, and reporting across delivery systems. • Provide coordination and administrative support across multiple projects and programmes. • Prepare and maintain project documentation including plans, RAID logs, status reports, meeting minutes, and action trackers. • Independently manage smaller-scale client engagements and internal initiatives from initiation through to closure. • Produce regular status updates and project reporting for internal and client stakeholders.

• Lead architecture for a complex Azure-to-AWS migration programme • Drive application and infrastructure modernisation initiatives • Guide senior stakeholders on cloud transformation strategy • Produce high and low-level designs, migration plans, and technical governance • Act as the senior technical authority throughout delivery

• Provide a point of escalation and support for the Desktop Support Group as well as systems engineers. • Work for an Insurance sector client in the UK on a long term project.

• Deploy and manage Microsoft Defender for Endpoint across Windows 11 and Windows Server environments • Lead the implementation and rollout of ThreatLocker across server estate • Support application control, allowlisting, and policy enforcement across endpoints • Secure and support Windows Server 2022 and 2025 infrastructure • Manage Windows 11 environments, including application deployment and configuration • Support installation, packaging, and troubleshooting of end-user applications • Ensure endpoint security configurations align with organisational and industry best practices • Collaborate with infrastructure teams to maintain a secure, resilient environment • Support ongoing optimisation of endpoint security posture and tooling

• Lead end-to-end delivery of cyber security initiatives across control, risk, and engineering workstreams • Define project scope, timelines, deliverables, and success metrics • Establish and maintain strong governance, reporting, and documentation standards • Track progress against milestones, risks, and dependencies • Conduct gap analysis across existing controls vs. target frameworks (e.g. NIST, internal/Tier 1-aligned standards) • Translate business and regulatory requirements into clear technical and operational deliverables • Define and document requirements for control implementation, tooling, and process improvements • Support alignment of security controls to Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and enterprise risk frameworks • Measure and report on control effectiveness against defined risk indicators • Help prioritise remediation efforts based on risk exposure and business impact • Engage senior stakeholders across security, IT, and the business • Act as the central coordination point between risk, engineering, and governance teams • Facilitate workshops, drive decision-making, and remove delivery blockers • Present clear, commercially focused updates to leadership • Support programmes across: Control framework adoption (NIST / internal standards), Microsoft Security stack (Defender, E5, CSPM tooling), Network security initiatives (NTA, NetSec reviews, detection improvements)

• Conduct detailed network traffic analysis to identify risks and vulnerabilities • Assess current network security posture and recommend improvements • Design and support implementation of network security controls • Provide independent assessment of security capabilities and gaps • Support development of bespoke solutions based on organisational exposure • Work across network architecture to ensure secure design principles • Contribute to improving detection and response capabilities (e.g. deception techniques)

• Lead deployment and optimisation of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint • Support security architecture across M365 E5 security stack • Align endpoint security strategy across laptops, servers, and VDI environments • Has in-depth knowledge/ skill of deploying designing M365 e5 security stack • Provide guidance on licensing utilisation and maximisation of E5 capabilities • Support integration across multiple security domains and tools • Work with engineering teams to implement and improve security controls

• Assess current cyber controls against defined frameworks (e.g. NIST) and organisational standards • Identify gaps between internal controls and external benchmark requirements (e.g. Tier 1 Bank aligned KRIs) • Define and implement control improvements to close identified gaps • Measure and track performance against Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) • Work closely with senior stakeholders to align on risk posture and remediation priorities • Drive adoption of new control frameworks across the business • Ensure strong documentation, governance, and audit readiness • Support automation of controls and reporting where possible • Deliver scalable, sustainable control improvements
