Charter Casting is hiring a Strategic Account Manager! You'll leverage your deep understanding of the casting industry to develop and execute strategic plans that drive growth for Charter Casting. *This is a remote position with 40% travel - an ideal candidate will live and travel throughout the Midwest region. This is your chance to: - Collaborate with internal teams to create winning sales strategies for Charter Casting products. - Build strong relationships with key decision-makers within metals companies. - Utilize your technical expertise to identify customer needs and propose innovative solutions specific to the metals industry. What you'll do: - Collaborate with commercial teams to develop & execute strategic plans for key accounts. - Analyze markets & assess opportunities to develop strategic account strategies for growth. - Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships to expand Charter Casting's portfolio. - Direct regular reviews of markets and accounts to identify trends and growth opportunities. - Develop deep relationships with assigned strategic accounts at all levels. - Be the primary point of contact (POC) for assigned accounts, representing Charter and acting as the customer's voice internally. - Develop new business with target and strategic accounts through solution selling of product lines & maintain existing business through consultative selling - Manage customer communications regarding product specifications, quality, delivery, etc. - Develop, evaluate, and implement pricing models and strategies to optimize revenue, market share, and profits. - Support Inside Sales and Customer Service to deliver a superior customer experience. - Monitor competitive activity and identify key customers' needs. - Represent Charter at industry association meetings. This role leads strategic execution across key customer relationships, driving long-range account positioning and delivering significant revenue growth, margin expansion, major platform wins, and strategic portfolio influence aligned with both annual and 5-year initiatives.
