• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, managing relationships from onboarding through renewal • Lead client meetings, claims reviews, and stewardship sessions, presenting actionable insights on claim performance, trends, and outcomes • Monitor claims handling quality and TPA performance, ensuring adherence to best practices, service standards, and regulatory requirements • Partner with adjusters, supervisors, and leadership to resolve escalations and improve claim outcomes • Analyze claims data (frequency, severity, lag time, expenses) to recommend cost containment and program optimization strategies • Support implementation of new accounts, ensuring a smooth transition of claims handling and reporting • Assist with contracts, renewals, and financial reconciliation, including claim costs and program performance • Participate in sales presentations and finalist meetings, showcasing claims expertise and service capabilities
Role Description We are looking for our next Auto Liability Claims Adjuster Trainer! In this role, you will lead and support training initiatives within the CBCS Auto/Liability division. You will prepare new and current employees for success by coordinating training plans, delivering instruction, evaluating progress, and identifying ongoing development needs. This position requires strong technical knowledge, communication skills, and judgment, along with the ability to partner closely with leadership to ensure training is structured, effective, and aligned with operational expectations. - Train new adjusters (in office & remote staff) to build role-specific knowledge and proficiency - Review trainee work to assess accuracy, communication quality, and progress - Develop training plans, assessment tools, and learning goals to measure performance and retention - Coordinate and deliver training sessions, including presentations and refreshers - Create and maintain training materials, resources, and content for consistent team learning - Partner with management to evaluate performance and recommend development needs - Serve as a subject matter resource for systems, workflows, and department processes - Support ongoing training for existing employees and contribute to additional projects as needed Qualifications - Experience delivering or managing training in claims, liability, or adjuster-focused environments - Strong communication skills across one-on-one, group, and presentation settings - Knowledge of policies, procedures, and coverage lines within claims operations - Ability to assess performance, adapt training approaches, and support varied learning styles - A collaborative, service-oriented mindset with strong relationship-building skills Requirements - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience - 5+ years of industry experience, including bodily injury and property damage claims - 1+ years of experience as a claims trainer/mentor - Current state-issued insurance adjuster licenses - Proficiency in Excel and strong written/verbal communication skills - Ability to evaluate work, organize training plans, and ensure consistency Benefits - A role focused on training excellence and employee development within Auto/Liability - Opportunity to impact onboarding, technical training, and ongoing development strategies - Cross-functional collaboration with leadership and team members - A visible role where your expertise directly influences team performance and outcomes
