Page Flow Specialist Location: St. Louis United States Job Description: BridgeTower Media is seeking a full-time Page Flow Specialist for the production and creative department, StudioBTM. This is a hybrid office/work-from-home position. The ideal candidate would need to live in the St. Louis, MO area. StudioBTM is an internal, shared services hub for BridgeTower properties. We provide various services to editorial, marketing, sales, circulation, and event teams. The Page Flow Specialist is responsible for project coordination and daily production management, keeping daily page production on schedule, building pages, placing ads, and working as part of a team by following a consistent, repeatable process. They fulfill a critical role in creating public notice and classified pages for all the BTM newspapers nationwide. The right candidate has strong time management and organizational instincts. They are quick on their feet, adept at juggling multiple assignments in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment, and work well within an established daily process. We are looking for someone who is detail oriented, curious, and a team player with good critical thinking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. Familiarity with InDesign required, but Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat as well as print and prepress processes is a plus. We are happy to train the right candidate on our specific tools and process. Title: Editor Location: North Charleston United States Job Description: Apply Description The Editor is responsible for not only managing the editorial vision and employees for their brand(s) but also for serving as a leader for the brand in the local business community. This is a hybrid role required to be in the Charleston office on Tuesdays and Thursdays while working remotely the other days of the week. Occasional travel is required across the three markets in South Carolina (Charleston, Colombia, and Greenville) for events and networking opportunities as necessary. Duties + Responsibilities: Manage the day-to-day operations - Manage all editorial employees for the brand(s) - directly or indirectly - to ensure deadlines are met and story quality and quantity expectations are satisfied or surpassed. - Hire, train and mentor editorial employees. - Manage freelance expenses to budget while ensuring that brand's content needs are met across digital, print, niche and event publications. - With the assistance of brand leaders and Managing Director, select the honorees for all recognition products (events, power lists, etc.) based on discussions and nominations and suggestions from community members. Follow all BTM best practices for managing the process. - Drive strong digital proficiencies paired with a digital-first mindset throughout editorial staff. - Stay at the forefront of AI trends/developments, including best practices, and monitor its use to conform to the BTM ethics guidelines. - Ensure all special products are produced to BTM standards by either leading their production directly or working with the special products team. - Manage the publication of community-submitted content such as columns, op-eds, etc. - Ensure audience engagement is high by driving appropriate content through in-depth knowledge of our audience needs. - Achieve all monthly metrics goals as determined by the editorial committee and executive team. - Ensure company culture, policies and legal guidelines are communicated all the way from the top down in the company and are followed in the brand at all times. Serve as the face of the publication - Emcee and network with attendees the day of events. - Moderate and help to select panelists, as needed, for webinars and panel discussions. - Regularly attend key business events in the community to build connections and demonstrate the brand's attention to the local business community. - Provide support to sales staff as needed to assist them in making pitches to potential advertisers without compromising editorial integrity. - Respond to feedback/criticism/suggestions from the community in a timely and appropriate manner. Be a revenue generator - Work with other leaders to develop the editorial vision for the brand(s), including identifying key beats, building the special products calendar, setting story quantity expectations and more. - Support the events process as needed by helping to develop summit themes, brainstorm speakers, select honorees, write/edit scripts, review videos, etc. leading up to events. - Work with other departments to generate additional editorial-focused revenue streams. Assist in steering the company to the most profitable direction while also implementing its vision, mission and long-term goals. - Develop an in-depth understanding of the brand's revenue streams and how the editorial department interacts with and affects those streams. Title: Sales Development Representative Location: Fully Remote Job Description: The Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a critical role in building pipelines, supporting the digital sales team, and accelerating revenue growth. This is a hands-on learning and development role designed to transition into a full Digital Sales Executive position. The SDR will work closely with senior sales executives to set up meetings, conduct research, assist with proposals, and support clients, while gradually taking on his/her own digital deals. Please note: This is a remote role, but the candidate must be based in either central or eastern time zones. Title: Customer Service Coordinator Location: Rochester United States Job Description: BridgeTower Media is seeking a full time Customer Service Coordinator in our Public Notice Department. This individual will act as a liaison for our clients seeking placement for public notices within multiple states for both print and online distribution. This is a hybrid position requiring two days per week in the Rochester office and occasional attendance at events. Duties + Responsibilities: - Assist our clients with all their legal ad placement needs including but not limited to deadlines, ad submission, proofreading, confirming publication, cancellations, affidavits, and invoices. - Organizes headshots and action photos for events. This is completed through downloading these photos from submission forms and accessing the backend of Word Press, will also reach out to clients if needed though email or phone if photos are missing or if photos are low resolution. To ultimately allow special pubs and VPC to use these materials for their duties of events. - Complete badges for events. This is completed through "stuffing" sponsor, honoree and individual badges for events. This can take anywhere from 2-4 hours depending on how many attendees. - Additional help is provided to lead up to the event with "stuffing" gift bags for honorees, creating cocktail signs for the event, as well as helping to load event materials into the vehicle. - Set-up help at events as well as during. This is completed through helping set up registration, center pieces and any other event set up needs leading up to the start of the event. At the event will help guest with finding badges, seats or any other event related questions. Will also lend a hand during the awards program with honorees. Most importantly plays a pivotal role in taking photos for social media as well creating those social posts and posting them to the different social platforms - The work in this position can be tedious. You must have a sense of urgency, attention to detail with strong organizational and follow-up skills for completeness & correctness. - Ideal candidate must be able to work independently with little supervision.
