• ERP Integration & Data Validation: Support ERP integrations during M&A activities by performing data mapping, validation, and reconciliation between source and target systems. Ensure completeness and accuracy of data throughout the integration lifecycle. • Data Integrity & Reconciliation: Analyze and compare large datasets across systems to identify discrepancies, inconsistencies, and gaps. Resolve data issues in collaboration with accounting, M&A, and IT stakeholders to maintain system integrity. • Data Extraction & Analysis: Write and maintain SQL queries and scripts to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple systems. Support repeatable processes for data comparison and validation. • Excel-Based Analysis & Modeling: Develop advanced Excel models and tools to support reconciliation, validation, and reporting efforts during integrations and ongoing operations. • Cross-Functional Integration Support: Partner with M&A, Accounting, and IT teams to support integration planning and execution. Act as a bridge between functional and technical teams to ensure alignment on data structures and requirements. • Documentation & Process Standardization: Document data structures, mapping logic, validation processes, and integration workflows. Contribute to building repeatable, scalable processes for future acquisitions. • Ongoing Data & Systems Support: Serve as a utility player outside of active M&A efforts by supporting data quality initiatives, system improvements, and ad hoc analysis across ERP and related systems.
Role Description As a Summer Intern on BKF’s Finance and Accounting team, you will play a meaningful role in supporting the firm’s financial operations while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic consulting environment. This position offers the opportunity to work with our cost accounting system, develop an understanding of consulting contracts, and ensure alignment with internal processes and procedures. You’ll collaborate with experienced professionals, contribute to real projects, and build a strong foundation in financial analysis, compliance, and operational excellence—all while being part of a supportive and growth-oriented team at BKF. This is a remote position with the option to be hybrid if a BKF office is nearby. Responsibilities - Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, vendor communication, and payment reconciliation. - Perform daily bank reconciliation. - Assist with the company’s EFT payment campaign for vendors and EFT/lockbox payment or campaign for clients. - Assist with collection efforts. - Support the month-end close process by preparing journal entries and reconciling balance sheet accounts. - Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. - Conduct data entry and maintenance of financial records in accordance with established procedures. - Assist with internal and external audit activities, including gathering supporting documentation and responding to inquiries. - Assist with project setups in company ERP system, Deltek Vantagepoint. - Participate in special projects as assigned, such as process improvement or system implementations. - Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data and reports. Qualifications - Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy of work output. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software is a plus. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Enthusiasm for learning and willingness to take on new challenges. - Previous internship or relevant work experience is preferred but not required. Requirements - Physical Demands: Mostly a sedentary position, normal bending, stooping and lifting required. - Must be able to visually interpret written text, prepare written documents, communicate by telephone and use a computer. - The employee is occasionally required to stand. - The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Project Manager – Bridge & Structures

• Lead and deliver bridge and structural engineering projects from pursuit through construction, including proposal development (scope, schedule, budget) and client interviews • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, agency partners, and teaming consultants across Northern and Central California • Manage multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate with civil, survey, environmental, and construction stakeholders • Oversee and mentor engineers in the preparation of PS&E packages, technical studies, reports, calculations, and supporting documentation • Perform and review bridge analysis and design using bridge‑specific finite element and section analysis software • Ensure designs comply with applicable codes and standards, including AASHTO LRFD and seismic design requirements • Provide construction support services, including site visits, responding to RFIs, and reviewing shop drawings and submittals • Lead bridge inspection and preventative maintenance projects, as applicable • Effectively communicate complex technical concepts in writing and verbally, representing the firm with professionalism • Manage project schedules, budgets, workload, and performance metrics across multiple concurrent assignments

Join BKF Engineers as a Senior Project Surveyor BKF Engineers is seeking a Senior Project Surveyor to join our team! This role focuses on leading survey project delivery, coordinating staff, and ensuring quality standards are met. The Senior Project Surveyor makes decisions on technical elements, mentors junior team members, and identifies opportunities for additional services. They may assist with proposals, attend project meetings, and support client coordination. The role also contributes to business development by promoting BKF’s services and identifying new project opportunities. Responsibilities include and not limited to: - Preparing construction staking calculations by reading plans and interpreting CAD files - Creating mapping deliverables including boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, topographic surveys, plats, and legal descriptions - Post-processing field data collected via total station, GPS, levels, 3D laser scanners, and unmanned aerial systems - Building 3D models of sites and structures for owners, architects, engineers, and contractors - Travel to various job sites and offices may be required
