• Own end-to-end implementations for a portfolio of 5–7 enterprise and strategic customers, from kickoff through go-live and handoff • Act as the primary point of contact for customer stakeholders, including senior and executive-level partners • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables across complex, multi-workstream implementations • Drive cross-functional alignment across internal teams (Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Operations, etc.) to ensure successful execution • Proactively identify and mitigate risks, managing escalations with urgency and clarity • Lead effective, structured communication with both internal and external stakeholders, including regular status updates and executive readouts • Ensure a high-quality customer experience, balancing speed with accuracy and attention to detail • Continuously improve implementation processes by identifying patterns, gaps, and opportunities for scalability • Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, guiding them through best practices and complex decision-making
• Build, operationalize, and scale the security engineering practices that protect the benefits platform • Work across application security, cloud security, security architecture, supply chain security, detection engineering, and vulnerability management • Partner deeply with the teams building web and mobile applications, backend services, system integrations, card and banking workflows, infrastructure as code, and data platforms • Turn risk reduction into scalable guardrails, automated controls, and clear engineering guidance • Help define secure AI tooling usage, LLM and code-assistant governance, and data protection practices for AI-enabled development workflows • Balance ideal security outcomes with engineering velocity and business priorities
• Maintain and improve information security policies, standards, procedures, control documentation, and related governance materials. • Help map policies and controls to frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001/27002, HITRUST, NIST CSF 2.0, and other customer, regulatory, or security requirements. • Support policy exceptions, risk acceptances, remediation tracking, control owner follow-ups, and recurring governance workflows. • Support SOC 2, ISO 27001, and HITRUST readiness, audit preparation, evidence collection, auditor coordination, and audit response management. • Maintain recurring evidence-gathering and control testing workflows, helping ensure controls operate consistently across the business. • Track audit findings, control gaps, remediation plans, owners, due dates, and closure evidence. • Support risk assessments, control gap assessments, internal reviews, and maintenance of the risk register. • Translate technical and security risks into clear business language, including mitigations, ownership, timelines, and residual risk. • Own or support customer security questionnaires, RFP security sections, due diligence requests, and trust or compliance documentation. • Maintain reusable questionnaire content, approved responses, compliance artifacts, and customer-facing assurance materials. • Support employee security awareness programs and create clear internal guidance for policies, controls, and compliance responsibilities. • Support vendor security reviews, third-party risk assessments, remediation tracking, risk acceptance documentation, and vendor compliance evidence. • Use GRC platforms such as Vanta, Drata, Thoropass, Secureframe, or similar tools to improve evidence collection, control monitoring, task tracking, reporting, and repeatable compliance operations.
• Design and operate systems responsible for ledgering, transaction processing, decisioning, and money movement • Build systems that are correct by design • Own the lifecycle of financial transactions end-to-end • Lead architectural decisions and write technical approach documents • Improve system resilience and operational tooling • Mentor other engineers
• Own Benepass’ fintech stack strategy, including build vs. partner decisions, across multiple time horizons • Manage and deepen relationships with key partners • Ensure existing integrations are stable, scalable, and fully utilized • Identify gaps in current capabilities and drive solutions with partners or internal teams • Align partner capabilities with our product roadmap and influence roadmap decisions • Evaluate and onboard new partners to expand our product offering • Act as the primary point of contact for fintech partners across product, engineering, and executive stakeholders • Lead issue resolution, escalations, and ongoing optimization work with partners • Represent Benepass in partner conversations and industry events
• Own launch readiness end-to-end • Drive launch readiness across all product and engineering workstreams • Build and manage project plans, timelines, and milestones, working backward from launch • Define readiness criteria and make final go / no-go recommendations • Run a weekly launch readiness sync to track progress, surface risks, and drive accountability • Identify downstream impact of product launches on Operations workflows, and ensure associated documentation and process updates are made • Monitor post-launch feedback, ensuring issues are resolved, and learnings are captured • Collaborate closely with our existing Operations Enablement function • Work directly with Product and Engineering Managers to understand the roadmap and upcoming sprint work • Evaluate initiatives for user, administrative, and internal operational impact, including potential effects on support volume • Translate technical work into clear operational implications and requirements • Ensure operational considerations are incorporated early in planning, not just at launch • Own a consolidated Ops roadmap across CX, CS, Implementation, and TAM, bringing a single, clear view of priorities • Build a structured system to synthesize Ops asks into clearly defined problem statements, and use cases • Quantify impact (revenue, retention, efficiency, risk) and help size opportunities to support prioritization (role needs to be analytical, and use Ops data - CX ticket data, Ops costs etc, - to drive clear prioritization) • Act as the single threaded owner of Ops → Product alignment, driving clarity on tradeoffs, sequencing, and expected business outcomes • Create launch runbooks that will enable scalable go-live plans as the company grows
• Build and Evolve the Design System • Contribute to the development and evolution of Benepass’s design system and component library. • Build reusable, accessible, and scalable React/TypeScript components. • Help define and refine component APIs with a focus on usability and composability. • Ensure consistency in styling, theming, and responsive behavior across the product. • Partner Closely with Design, Product, and Engineering • Collaborate with Design to translate UI/UX concepts into reusable components and patterns. • Work with Product to understand requirements, constraints, and tradeoffs. • Support engineers in adopting and using design system components effectively. • Help ensure strong alignment between design intent and implementation. • Act as a bridge between design vision and engineering execution at an organizational level • Deliver High-Quality Frontend Systems • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code. • Apply best practices across React, TypeScript, styling, and accessibility. • Identify opportunities to improve performance, consistency, and code quality. • Contribute to frontend architecture decisions in partnership with senior and lead engineers. • Improve Developer Experience • Contribute to documentation, examples, and tooling (e.g., Storybook, styleguides). • Help streamline workflows for building and using UI components. • Identify and address friction in the frontend development process. • Support Team Growth and Standards • Provide guidance and feedback to other engineers through code reviews and collaboration. • Help uphold frontend standards and best practices across the team. • Take ownership of projects and drive them to completion with minimal oversight. • Drive Innovation in UI Development • Explore and implement modern approaches to UI development, including AI-assisted workflows. • Improve the speed and quality of the design → code pipeline through automation and tooling. • Evaluate emerging technologies and introduce those that meaningfully improve team velocity.
• Define how Benepass engages customers and members across onboarding, activation, engagement, and renewal • Build lifecycle programs that drive adoption, education, and sustained usage • Identify gaps in the customer journey and develop programs to improve the overall experience • Develop campaigns that increase benefit awareness, card usage, and program adoption • Create communications tied to key lifecycle moments (launch, open enrollment, seasonal usage) • Translate complex benefits and financial concepts into simple, compelling messaging • Build and manage lifecycle campaigns across email, in-product messaging, printed materials, and other touchpoints • Own segmentation and targeting to deliver relevant messaging to different audiences • Ensure communications are timely, clear, and aligned with customer needs • Support time-sensitive and ad hoc campaigns (e.g., product updates, compliance changes, critical customer communications), ensuring rapid and high-quality execution • Collaborate with Product Marketing and Customer Success to support launches, renewals, and expansion opportunities • Develop scalable frameworks for client-specific communications where needed • Balance customization with consistency and operational efficiency • Define and track lifecycle KPIs (activation, engagement, utilization) • Run experiments to improve campaign performance and effectiveness • Use insights to inform broader marketing, product, and customer strategy
• Own the end-to-end proposal and RFP process from intake through submission and follow-up • Drive cross-functional coordination across Sales, Strategic Alliances, Solutions Consulting, Product, Product Marketing and other stakeholders to ensure timely, high-quality responses • Establish clear timelines, roles, and SLAs to bring structure and predictability to the process • Build and maintain a centralized content library, ensuring responses are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned to Benepass’s positioning • Partner closely with Product Marketing to refine messaging based on RFP trends, buyer feedback, and competitive insights • Draft, edit, and QA proposal responses with a focus on clarity, differentiation, and alignment to client needs • Tailor responses for enterprise and strategic accounts, balancing customization with scalability • Leverage AI tools to accelerate drafting, improve response quality, and enforce consistency in tone and messaging • Identify opportunities to automate and streamline the proposal workflow, reducing manual effort and increasing throughput • Track proposal activity, turnaround times, and outcomes to identify areas for improvement
• Own a strategic product area focused on employee discovery and engagement, from problem definition through execution • Reimagine core employee-facing experiences that help users better understand their benefits and discover relevant options • Define the strategy and roadmap for your area, making and owning tradeoffs based on user needs, business goals, and constraints • Lead product discovery to deeply understand employee and employer problems, and translate insights into clear product direction • Partner closely with Design, Engineering, Product Marketing, and other teams to deliver cohesive, high-quality experiences • Drive execution end to end, keeping work moving forward and adjusting course as new information emerges • Use data, feedback, and judgment to evaluate impact and continuously improve what you build
