Role Description The Jr. Accounting Specialist position is a key member of the Finance team reporting to the Senior Accounting Specialist. The essential functions of this role include supporting monthly and annual reporting processes, performing routine controller tasks, assisting with regulatory filings and audits, and contributing to accurate financial operations through collaboration and data analysis. - Assist in preparing journal entries and maintaining general ledger accounts in accordance with accounting standards and internal policies - Support the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting - Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements - Contribute to the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards (e.g. US GAAP) - Perform routine controller functions, including account reconciliations, variance analysis, and internal controls monitoring - Support Accounts Payable (AP) processes, including invoice review, coordination with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely payments - Assist with regulatory compliance and filings, including state and international tax filings, transfer pricing documentation, and statutory reporting requirements - Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, responding to auditor inquiries, and ensuring timely delivery of requested documentation - Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process, including data collection, variance tracking, and preparation of supporting schedules - Utilize Excel and other tools to manage, analyze, and visualize financial data (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas) - Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, tax, and operations teams to support business initiatives and reporting needs - Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the manager Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management required - Experience and technical proficiency with NetSuite is considered an asset - 2-3 years of related work experience - Excellent written and oral communication skills, clear and precise in communication - Strong attention to detail - Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word Requirements - Responsible, detail-oriented, team player Benefits - Competitive salary - Comprehensive benefits - Great perks - Professional and career development opportunities Company Description Atlas Technica's mission is to shoulder IT management, user support, and cybersecurity for our clients, who are hedge funds and other investment firms. • Provide excellent internal support to the organization • Work with the Atlas internal infrastructure team to support internal systems including Azure AVD, Endpoint infrastructure, Entra ID, Intune, MS Defender, and Atlas’ VOIP system
• Act as the Service Operations point person for one or more service delivery pods. • Bring visibility to open actions, blockers, service risks, and operational dependencies across teams. • Reduce dependencies on Support Managers for non-technical work. • Ensure work moves forward consistently through structured follow-up, accountability, and clear ownership. • Drive QBR readiness and post-QBR follow-through across assigned scope. • Monitor client health indicators, including backlog trends, SLA risks, service escalations, CSAT/NPS inputs, and other operational signals. • Help prepare pod-level visibility into performance, risks, and opportunities. • Ensure action items, opportunities, and service concerns identified through QBRs or leadership reviews are tracked to completion. • Coordinate support-related projects, follow-through activities, and operational workstreams. • Help manage timelines, action items, dependencies, documentation, meeting follow-up, and owner accountability for support projects within assigned pods. • Serve as a client-facing operational partner during support-related initiatives.
• Architect and pilot client-facing advisory business • Design multi-agent systems that drive real ROI for clients • Hire and lead a specialized pod of 2–3 AI consultants • Develop and maintain proprietary Pattern Libraries for complex fund strategies • Design sophisticated system prompts and multi-agent workflows • Lead design sprints for C-suite stakeholders at $10B+ AUM funds • Create playbooks that empower engineering teams to sustain environments • Contribute to R&D on 'AI Defense' focusing on prompt safety and governance patterns
• Ensure that engineers in the support department are utilized to their full capacity • Address issues of scheduling and coordination of work • Responsible for scheduling engineering calendars and tickets for a global support organization across several time zones • Coordinating all IT resources to drive completion of tasks and ensure efficient resource utilization • Coordinating scheduling of work with internal resources and client contacts • Scheduling internal and onsite technical resources in our ticketing system (ConnectWise Manage) • Evaluating, prioritizing and assigning IT to support requests, following up where needed • Monitoring service personnel schedules to ensure support coverage • Monitoring resource schedules for prompt service delivery and time entry on service requests • Ensuring ticket deadlines are met • Keeping customers informed of scheduling or service changes or outages • Ensuring client satisfaction and resolving complaints • Surveying clients to measure client satisfaction • Efficiently communicating through instant messages, phone calls, and a ticketing system

Role Description The Financial Controller position is a key member of the Finance team reporting to the Director of Finance. The Financial Controller is responsible for overseeing end-to-end accounting operations, timely and accurate financial reporting, internal controls, compliance, and partnering with leadership to support decision-making and profitable growth. They will lead the accounting, compliance, and billing teams and own the monthly close, ensuring adherence to GAAP, local accounting policies, and company policies. - Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process; prepare when needed and review journal entries, reconciliations, and consolidations to deliver accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP. - Own company-wide financial reporting, including income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, variance analyses, and management reporting packages. - Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, credit and collections, vendor management, and billing accuracy; drive DSO and working capital improvements. - Manage treasury and cash flow forecasting; monitor liquidity, banking relationships, and covenant compliance where applicable. - Establish, document, and continuously improve internal controls, accounting policies, and standard operating procedures; ensure a strong control environment and audit readiness. - Coordinate and lead external audits and reviews; manage auditor requests, PBC lists, and issue resolution. - Ensure tax compliance (sales/use, property, payroll, and income tax in coordination with external advisors as needed); maintain compliance calendars and filings. - Oversee payroll accounting and benefits-related accounting entries; ensure accurate classification and reconciliations. - Evaluate and optimize systems and process automation across the close, AP/AR, expense management, and fixed assets; partner with IT/Finance on ERP configuration and integrations. - Lead revenue recognition compliance (e.g., ASC 606) including contract review, performance obligation assessment, and variable consideration methodology where applicable. - Manage fixed assets and capitalization policies, lease accounting, and depreciation schedules. - Provide budget vs. actual analyses, departmental spend tracking, and support annual planning and rolling forecasts in partnership with FP&A. - Mentor, develop, and scale the accounting team; set priorities and quality standards. - Support M&A diligence and integrations, including opening balance sheet, purchase accounting, and policy alignment where applicable. - Serve as a strategic partner to the Director of Finance and leadership on accounting impacts of business decisions, risks, and opportunities. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/ACCA strongly preferred. - 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory or Controller/Assistant Controller capacity and management experience. - Deep knowledge of US GAAP, accounting policy, and internal controls; and audit best practices. - Advanced Excel/Sheets skills for modeling, reconciliations, and analyses; data hygiene and process mindset. - Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills; ability to translate accounting impacts for non-finance audiences. - High level of integrity, judgment, logic, attention to detail, and commitment to deadlines. - Experience in multi-state operations, multi-entity consolidations, and intercompany eliminations. - Background in services, SaaS, or subscription/recurring revenue models. - Prior involvement in M&A integration, purchase accounting, and system migrations.
