Role Description Amyx is seeking to hire a Senior Acquisition Specialist located in Falls Church, VA. - Executes the Requisition Develop Process (RDP) and RDP Communication Plan to assist the Requiring Activity in developing complete and comprehensive Procurement Requisition (PR) packages. - Fully understands and complies with the RDP and RDP Communication Plan. - Proactively facilitates communications between stakeholders. - Updates in a timely manner the workflow status within the Requisition Development Tool (RDT) or Unified Acquisition Portal on assigned actions as they progress through the RDP, and updates and maintains the Milestone Plan for specific actions. - Coordinates, plans, organizes, and directs an Integrated Product Teams (IPT) with input and support from other analysts and subject-matter specialists. - Analyzes requirements and provides technical advice and assistance to customers to clarify requirements, develop Statements of Work (SOW)/performance work Statements (PWSs), develop acquisition strategies, and/or resolve problems. - Reviews completed PR packages to determine that all file documents are signed, that there are no administrative actions pending, and that the documentation within the PR package are complete and ready to be transferred to the contracting office. - Serves as Requiring Activity point of contact once a requirement has been entered into the RDT or Unified Acquisition Portal. - Monitors the RDT or Unified Acquisition Portal for new requirement actions, assigns actions to personnel, and executes communication activities in a timely manner to the Requiring Activity. - Participates in weekly meetings with the DHA Request Submissions Portal Triage teams on assigned actions and provides an open action status report. - Documents lessons learned and recommended refinements to the RDP and provides documentation to APSO leadership quarterly. - Proactively communicates with and responds to customers (internal and external) in a timely, courteous, knowledgeable, professional, and helpful manner. - Maintains APSO’s procurement Mailbox, MHS Submissions Portal mailbox and assists with website maintenance to include upload of data collected from customer requisitions. - Tracks contract milestones and notifies the Requisition Owner 5 workdays before milestone is met. - Provides accurate responses to data calls and requests for information from management within the required timeframes. - Inputs/assigns requisition package information into automated RDT system and ensures data is current and accurate. - Must have the ability to communicate accurate information. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in business or a business-related field (e.g., Accounting, Economics, Business, Finance, Industrial Management, Law, Marketing, Contracts, Quantitative Methods, Purchasing, Organization and Management). - Must have achieved Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Certified - Contracting Level II or equivalent. - Must possess at least ten (10) years of progressively increasing responsibility in federal acquisition planning, execution, and administration activities, five (5) of which should be DoD-related. The ten (10) years of experience may be reduced to five (5) years of progressive experience if combined with an Advanced Business or Business related degree. Role Description Amyx is seeking to hire a Contract Analyst to support our Defense Health Agency (DHA) Team in Colorado Springs, CO. The Defense Health Agency (DHA) is responsible for the effective execution and operation of the Department of Defense (DoD) medical mission, which is to provide medical services and support to specified categories of individuals entitled to DoD medical care. The DHA provides medical care for the DoD’s 9.6 million eligible beneficiaries through the defense health program, which includes contracted health care networks and military treatment facilities.
