Role Description We're hiring a Head of Engineering to own engineering execution, technical architecture, and cloud infrastructure across a mission-critical SaaS platform. - Lead and mentor a team of ~6 full-stack engineers plus a BA/Product Manager - Serve as the senior technical decision-maker across architecture and platform direction - Own cloud infrastructure and application reliability (Azure) - Drive ongoing modernization, including migration from legacy Perl to .NET - Balance technical debt reduction with new feature delivery - Partner closely with executive leadership on prioritization, roadmap tradeoffs, and exit readiness - Support light API integrations across products and workflows - Bring a product-oriented mindset to engineering planning and execution - Evaluate emerging technologies (including AI) in a regulated, sensitive-data environment This role is not day-to-day coding, but it does require technical depth, architectural judgment, and the ability to dive in when needed. • Leading, growing, and developing a high-performing cross-functional engineering team responsible for the end-to-end biometric authentication product — from mobile SDKs to backend infrastructure. • Defining the team's structure and evolution as it scales, establishing strong engineering practices, clear ownership, and measurable delivery outcomes. • Owning the end-to-end delivery of bioauth product features — including iOS, Android, and Web SDKs, backend services for face retrieval and matching at large-scale, and integration with ML models in production. • Building and scaling high-performance infrastructure for biometric operations: face encoding storage, fast retrieval systems, matching pipelines, and real-time liveness verification. • Partnering with Product leadership to define authentication strategy, influence technical architecture, and ensure go-to-market readiness. • Driving initiatives that bring core biometric capabilities in-house, reducing third-party dependencies and increasing control over performance, cost, and innovation velocity. • Collaborating with Data Science teams to productionize ML models — integrating face recognition, liveness detection, and anti-spoofing models into mobile and backend systems. • Ensuring operational excellence: building robust monitoring, observability, performance optimization, and incident response practices across all systems. • Working with Legal and Compliance to ensure privacy-first architecture, GDPR compliance, and responsible handling of biometric data. • Building a team culture centered on technical excellence, collaboration, ownership, and customer impact.

• Lead a team of developers with deep experience in distributed microservices and full stack systems to develop, launch, and manage a B2B enterprise website. • Perform web development on Front End Applications leveraging a test-driven development pattern. • Own the technical design and development of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems to create a single, cohesive digital customer experience in collaboration with partner product teams. • Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, and mentoring other members of the engineering community. • Collaborate with digital product managers, UX designers, and content strategists to deliver robust, cloud-based digital experiences that drive traffic, engagement, and sales pipeline. • Utilize programming languages like JavaScript (Angular, React, Node), HTML/CSS, TypeScript and Java, Tailwind CSS, Next.js, open source frameworks, RESTful web services, and work on cross-browser and cross-device development. • Managing and securing website infrastructures with integrated marketing automation, CRM, analytics, and experiential platforms.

• Own and execute Dynatron’s data engineering strategy aligned with business objectives and product roadmaps • Evaluate and adopt emerging data technologies while balancing performance, scalability, and cost • Ensure data platforms are built for long-term sustainability, extensibility, and operational excellence • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing data engineering organization • Set clear expectations, drive accountability, and foster a culture of continuous improvement • Oversee the design, implementation, and operation of data warehouses, data lakes, transactional databases, and pipelines • Guide development of ETL/ELT workflows, APIs, real-time data streams, and analytics layers • Partner closely with Data Science and ML teams to enable production-grade AI and ML workflows • Lead execution of data initiatives, ensuring on-time delivery within scope and budget • Establish and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and operational metrics across data systems • Identify opportunities to improve reliability, performance, and developer productivity • Act as a trusted partner to Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Executive leadership • Ensure data platforms adhere to security, privacy, and compliance requirements (SOC 2, PCI, GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
