Senior Program Manager
Verint
Role Description Verint's Senior Program Manager, Program Management Office (PMO) plays a central role in driving strategic initiatives across the product and engineering organization. This person works closely with the senior leadership to bring structure, transparency, and momentum to the programs that matter most. The role spans planning frameworks, cross-functional governance, tooling, and a bias toward getting things done over documenting process. We're looking for someone who is equally comfortable in a leadership meeting setting direction and in the weeds resolving a dependency. The ideal candidate has deep experience running complex programs in SaaS environments, understands how modern product and engineering organizations work, and knows how to build alignment and move work forward fast across a distributed company. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience - 8+ years of experience in program or project management, with at least 4 years in a senior or lead capacity in a software or SaaS environment - Demonstrated track record running complex, cross-functional programs in a matrixed, global organization - Strong facilitation skills - able to run a room, navigate ambiguity, and move stakeholders toward decisions across different time zones and teams - Experience standing up or significantly improving PMO practices inside a product or engineering organization - Solid understanding of Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies; comfortable working alongside both scrum teams and portfolio-level planning - Experience with enterprise planning tools, particularly Aha! and Jira; familiarity with data-driven reporting and executive dashboards - Comfortable working alongside AI-assisted workflows and curious about where they can reduce friction in PMO operations - Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, SS Verification, as well as credit and drug screening, where applicable and in accordance with federal and local regulations Requirements - Own strategic programs from initiation through delivery and adoption, maintaining clarity on goals, scope, and status at every stage. - Create visibility and alignment across leadership by translating complex program activity into clear, decision-ready reporting. - Track deadlines, deliverables, resources, and action items with rigor, and hold owners accountable for their commitments. - Identify cross-team dependencies and risks early, and make sure they are visible, owned, and mitigated before they become blockers. - Design, refine, and roll out planning and governance processes that help a distributed product organization move faster and more consistently. - Define and track KPIs that give leadership a clear picture of engineering effectiveness, delivery health, and team capacity. - Identify opportunities to use AI-assisted workflows to reduce manual effort in status reporting, documentation, and data synthesis. - Facilitate retrospectives and lessons-learned sessions that actually result in changes, not just documentation. - Partner with Product, Engineering, CloudOps, and Support & Services to streamline delivery and reduce friction at the hand-off points. - Support post-merger integration work by helping newly combined teams align on shared processes, tools, and ways of working. - Lead change efforts that connect directly to business outcomes - faster delivery, reduced rework, better predictability. Preferred Qualifications - PMP or equivalent certification - Experience in CX, CCaaS, WFM, or enterprise SaaS - Exposure to M&A integration work or operating inside a PE-backed technology company - Hands-on experience with WSJF or other value-based prioritization frameworks Benefits - 2025 Benefits Offering Company Description Verint Systems Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to maintaining a workplace free from discrimination, retaliation, and sexual and any other form of harassment. Verint has a zero-tolerance policy against any form of discrimination, retaliation, or harassment including sexual harassment or any other form of harassment based on race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, genetic information, disability, veteran status, and any other classification or characteristic protected by applicable federal, state or local laws.
