• Lead complex, multi-team programs spanning core banking, card issuing, ledger, authorization, settlement, disputes, fraud, and payment processing domains. • Drive execution of strategic initiatives from concept through production rollout. • Establish and maintain program plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and success criteria. • Provide clear visibility to leadership on delivery status, blockers, and mitigation plans. • Partner with Engineering, Product, and Architecture teams to ensure scalable and resilient solutions. • Understand and challenge technical designs, architecture trade-offs, and implementation plans. • Drive alignment on technical requirements, NFRs, operational readiness, scalability, security, and resiliency objectives. • Identify integration, performance, reliability, and operational risks early in the lifecycle. • Coordinate activities across Product Management, Engineering, SRE, Architecture, Client Delivery, Compliance, and Operations teams. • Drive accountability and resolution of cross-team dependencies. • Facilitate planning, execution, release readiness, and post-launch reviews. • Ensure alignment between business objectives and engineering execution. • Support strategic client initiatives involving large financial institutions and enterprise customers. • Drive readiness for major client launches, platform migrations, and production rollouts. • Communicate technical and delivery risks effectively to internal and external stakeholders. • Lead risk management, issue resolution, and escalation processes. • Establish metrics and reporting to improve delivery predictability and execution quality.
Job Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 11+ years of relevant work experience.
- 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
- 8+ years of technical program management, engineering management, or software delivery leadership experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
- Experience working with global, distributed engineering teams
- Experience with highly regulated financial environments.
- Working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and SAFe frameworks.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and program management tooling.
- Familiarity with active-active architectures, disaster recovery, resiliency testing, and non-functional requirements.
- Strong understanding of Cloud-native architectures, Distributed systems and microservices, REST APIs and event-driven systems, Public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), CI/CD and modern software delivery practices
