The Sr Staff Systems Engineer XR will be assigned to SlingWorks, our advanced R&D organization, and will be part of a world-class team developing latest perception and virtual reality technologies. Summary of Responsibilities Job Summary: - Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of hardware and software engineers to develop the next generation extended reality (XR) systems for dismounted Warfighter applications. - Contribute to the technical strategy and roadmap for XR implementation, balancing innovation and product delivery timelines. - Responsible for architecture implementation of real-time rendering pipelines, spatial tracking systems, and mixed reality frameworks for advanced day/night display and imaging systems. - Utilize best practices for developing low latency, power efficient software on resource constrained hardware. - Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to drive product capability, enhance user experience, and accelerate development velocity. - Coordinate with industry leaders in extended reality and perception technologies to bring advanced capabilities to the warfighter.
