Role Description We are looking for a Procurement Associate who will support purchasing and procurement activities to ensure the timely acquisition and delivery of materials and services. This role will assist in coordinating shipments, tracking procurement activities, and maintaining documentation related to purchasing operations. The Procurement Associate will work closely with vendors, internal teams, and project stakeholders to ensure procurement processes run smoothly and efficiently. This position will collaborate across departments and report to the Contracting Specialist. This position will be remote. - Maintain accurate records of procurement activities including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier communications - Communicate with vendors to obtain status updates, confirmations, shipping documentation, and delivery timelines - Track and monitor shipments to ensure materials are delivered on schedule - Assist with coordinating logistics and maintaining documentation such as confirmations, packing slips, proof of delivery (POD), and equipment inspection forms in procurement systems - Monitor delivery dates and ensure procurement activities align with project timelines - Prepare procurement reports including purchase order reports, procurement metrics, supplier performance summaries, and spending analysis for management review - Assist with monitoring inventory at storage facilities and support inventory tracking activities - Support submission of claims related to damaged equipment or materials - Prepare and assist with shipping documentation required for logistics coordination - Create and submit requisitions to the Purchasing department - Identify and recommend procurement cost-saving opportunities and process improvements to management - Provide general administrative support for Project Managers as needed - Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures - Assist with additional procurement and operational tasks as assigned Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred - Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience required, including administrative, customer service, supply chain, procurement, or financial analysis experience required - Experience with procurement-to-pay (P2P) processes, inventory management, vendor management, or logistics coordination is preferred - Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required Requirements - Pay Range: USD $24.00 - USD $33.00 /Hr. Job Requirements
