As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for: - Leading resolution of complex service-impacting issues using deep troubleshooting, log analysis, and systems-level programming. - Designing and owning automated CI/CD pipelines supporting scalable software and infrastructure deployment across AWS environments. - Architecting automation frameworks reducing operational toil while improving reliability, scalability, and deployment safety. - Defining monitoring, alerting, and observability standards ensuring actionable signals and faster mean time to recovery. - Partnering across engineering, operations, and support teams to identify root causes and implement durable improvements. - Mentoring engineers and contributing to architectural decisions shaping broader platform and reliability standards. Do what you love To be successful in this role you will: - Have 5 years of experience in software engineering, systems engineering, technical integration roles or its equivalent. - Demonstrate deep production experience with Python, Java, Go, Bash, or SQL writing maintainable, testable systems-level code. - Hold active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one; Bachelor's degree or equivalent senior-level professional experience required. - Possess deep understanding of DNS, HTTP/S, TCP, and UDP within large-scale distributed cloud environments. - Exhibit hands-on experience designing and operating AWS infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools. - Demonstrate proficiency with containers and orchestration platforms including Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, or similar systems. - Show tenacious ownership, communication, and ability to translate complex technical concepts across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
