Role Description The Platform Systems Analyst is responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and supporting enterprise platforms to ensure alignment between business needs and technical delivery. This role serves as a critical liaison between business stakeholders, product teams, and technical leads to translate requirements into actionable specifications that enable efficient execution. This position focuses on requirements clarity, integration coordination, platform enhancements, and operational excellence within established architectural standards. Responsibilities - Business & Requirements Analysis - Partner with business stakeholders to gather, document, and refine functional and technical requirements. - Lead discovery sessions to clarify business processes and system needs. - Produce high-quality documentation including business requirements, functional specifications, workflows, and use cases. - Identify gaps, edge cases, and downstream system impacts before development begins. - Platform Optimization & Enhancements - Support ongoing platform improvements and feature enhancements. - Analyze system usage, performance trends, and user feedback to recommend optimizations. - Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate implemented solutions. - Integration & Cross-System Coordination - Document and analyze data flows between platforms and third-party systems. - Collaborate with architects and tech leads to ensure integration requirements are clearly defined. - Troubleshoot data and interface issues in partnership with technical teams. - Ensure data consistency and process alignment across systems. - Delivery Support - Work closely with tech leads during sprint planning and backlog refinement. - Ensure user stories and acceptance criteria are complete and testable. - Support release planning and post-release validation. - Assist with root cause analysis for production issues affecting business processes. - Governance & Documentation - Maintain system documentation, process maps, and knowledge articles. - Ensure adherence to established architectural, security, and compliance standards. - Support audit and reporting requirements as needed. Qualifications - Required - Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience). - 5–8 years of experience in systems analysis, enterprise application support, or platform administration. - Experience working with enterprise-grade distributed systems or platforms. - Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, and data workflows. - Proficiency in SQL for data validation and analysis. - Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments. - Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills. - Preferred - Exposure to cloud environments (OCI, AWS, or Azure). - Familiarity with ITIL or service management processes. - Experience in regulated industries. - Experience coordinating UAT or release activities. Requirements - Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously. - Skilled in iterative development cycles with frequent releases and experience with “Scrum” methodologies. - Experience with healthcare data, preferred. - Knowledge of public cloud (AWS/OCI), preferred. - Experience operating in an Agile environment, preferred. - Experience testing web applications built on Angular, preferred. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions - Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods. - Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers. - Must be able to provide high-speed internet access/connectivity and office setup and maintenance. - Must be able to provide a dedicated, secure work area. - No adverse environmental conditions expected.
