Role Description Ciklum is looking for a Senior Python Engineer to join our team full-time in Ukraine. Responsibilities: - Leading new features and problem-solving from requirements to delivery across the product areas and technologies. - Writing reliable, efficient, secure, and scalable Python code. - Collaborating with different engineering teams, product teams, customer success, and professional services. - Researching and providing solutions to complex problems. - Communicating effectively with our internal Hunt Platform team as a customer — a highly technical team within the company. Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in object-oriented software development and building REST APIs. - 2+ years of experience in E2E design and implementation of features as part of large-scale backend projects. - Experience in Backend Development using Python. - Experience working with Linux-based systems. - Familiarity with some of the following technologies: MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, and other big-data platforms. - Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude. • Joining a team of passionate developers to work on projects for local and international companies • Involving in different phases of the end-to-end delivery • Direct contact with the client and business analysis of the problem • Coming up with an appropriate solution and implementation • Moving the solution to the production environment • Directly cooperating with machine learning team members • Designing scalable transformation pipelines using DBT and cloud data warehouse technologies • Building a scalable data platform for processing operational data from pharmaceutical laboratories and global supply chains • Creating reliable, maintainable, and well-documented data models • Collaborating with international data engineering and analytics teams

• Write, review, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries that support business reporting, analytics, and data transformation • Design and develop data serving and semantic layers to support business needs ranging from traditional reporting to reverse ETL and LLM/AI implementations • Build and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL, ELT) data from various sources into the data platform using both batch processing and event-driven patterns • Implement and automate data quality checks and monitoring to ensure data accuracy and drive observability • Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver solutions

• Liderar tecnicamente o desenvolvimento e a evolução de pipelines Bronze, Silver e Gold em Databricks. • Definir padrões de Analytics Engineering, modelagem de dados, documentação e qualidade para o time. • Projetar pipelines escaláveis, reutilizáveis e de alta performance para múltiplos domínios de negócio. • Atuar como referência técnica em arquitetura de dados, apoiando decisões e revisões de código. • Evoluir estratégias de Data Quality, testes automatizados e governança de dados. • Construir e definir padrões para modelos semânticos corporativos e ativos analíticos em Power BI. • Mentorar Analytics Engineers, compartilhando conhecimento e impulsionando a evolução técnica da equipe. • Trabalhar em parceria com Arquitetura, Platform Engineering e stakeholders de negócio na evolução da estratégia de dados.
