The Mission We are seeking an experienced Principal Project Manager to join and lead large scale and/or strategic Clients for the Cloud Project Management team. The right candidate is someone who is empathic, customer obsessed and organized. This candidate has the proven ability to be able to scale up or down using the many tools of Project Management (Waterfall, Agile, SAFe, etc.) depending on Client needs as well as provide focus on future growth opportunities. In addition to their own portfolio, the Principal Project Manager will provide support for practice initiatives, contribute to Standard Operating Procedures and mentorship/coaching of the team as a subject matter expert. Your mission will be to not only grow Caylent’s strategic, large scale clients but also be a key contributor to growing the practice. Your Assignment - Oversee all assigned projects, including setting goals between clients and delivery teams, planning and execution of projects, conducting regular touch-points and coordinating account-related activities as needed - Seek and identify additional growth opportunities during the project lifecycle to help retain and grow the Caylent client portfolio - Continually assess project risks and mitigation strategies to resolve with minimal impact to the project - Drive best in class Client strategic communication through both executive level reportin as well as weekly status reports and meetings as well as monthly project reviews - Identify the needs of the Client against the Caylent Delivery methodology to create a strategic implementation plan focused on delivery and growth - Lead, coach and support the practice and delivery teams in Agile practices - Work closely with delivery team to ensure timecard adherence as well as forecasting accuracy and budget management against deliverables - Mentor team members through the onboarding process and assist with coaching - Develop and improve operational practices and processes as needed - Assist with interviews as needed Your Qualifications - 10+ years of experience in consulting or professional services managing large scale, complex programs for Enterprise clients - Prior management of technical engagements that consist of 5 or more people, with multiple project workstreams and over $1,000,000 budget - Extensive experience and knowledge of project management disciplines, methodologies and tools with ability to build out complex, multi year client roadmaps - Experience leading client agile transformations or designing the best project management approach for Clients - Expertise in forecasting and budgeting management to drive accuracy in revenue projections to realization with ability to train and coach others - Ability to interact with clients at both a business and technical level - Ability to identify and manage risks as well as proven ability in successful Escalation management of Enterprise and Strategic or Complex clients - Demonstrated expertise in the ability to understand client's business needs, encompassing both short-term objectives and long-term goals to drive additional revenue or account growth - Strong communication skills with the ability to present to executives - Ability to develop processes, templates and standards around project management best practices - Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks, manage engagements and ensure they are executed with excellence - Demonstrated ability to provide thought leadership in the areas of infrastructure modernization, application development and/or data engineering disciplines - Ability to act as a mentor to team members as part of onboarding or provide coaching to peers as needed Preferred Qualifications - Project Management certification - PMP, CAPM - Agile Certifications - CSM, PSM, CSP - Cloud certification such as AWS Practitioner or Azure Fundamentals Benefits - Medical Insurance for you and eligible dependents - 401k plan with company match up to 4% and immediate vesting - Competitive phantom equity - Company issued laptop - Dental and Vision insurance - Term Disability Insurance - Term Life Insurance - Flexible Spending Account - Equipment & Office Stipend - Annual stipend for Learning and Development - Unlimited Paid Time Off - 10 Paid Holidays This role may require up to 25% travel, depending on business needs. Professional Services Project Manager Summary: The role of the Project Manager is to manage Delinea’s large packaged and custom projects, from time of sale until project completion.
