The Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) Impact Evaluation Specialist II plays a key role in monitoring program operational metrics, implementing evaluation plans, and developing reports that communicate program impact. This role also supports organizational priorities related to operational monitoring and outcome reporting by serving as a key point of contact for executive leaders, WWP strategic project teams, and external partners or collaborators. This role also contributes to team capacity-building by supporting training efforts and serving as a technical resource for evaluation activities. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Data Collection and Management: - Lead the design and administration of surveys that assess the impact and effectiveness of WWP services. Develop new evaluation forms and survey instruments. Monitor and evaluate survey performance. - Lead the development of program data collection and reporting business requirements. Serve as a point of contact for strategic projects involving new or changing data collection and evaluation objectives. - Contribute to data governance efforts to help ensure the quality and consistency of program monitoring and evaluation activities. - Collaborate with data governance, IT, and program teams to facilitate cross-program alignment and adherence to established data collection and reporting standards. Serve as the lead for action reports generated from data governance audits and inventory activities. - Follow best practices in data collection, storage, analysis, and governance. Train new team members in these practices and promote or recommend updated guidance to enhance evaluation activities. Evaluation Planning and Implementation: - Collaborate with teams to align evaluation activities with programmatic and strategic goals. Recommend key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate program operations and impact in support of strategic objectives and decision-making. - Utilize descriptive statistics to summarize and present operational and outcome data. Ensure accurate interpretation of findings by verifying definitions and use cases for reported indicators. - Collaborate with MD&I leadership and the operations specialist to develop reporting templates and guidelines for level I specialists. - Ensure the timely completion of evaluation projects by maintaining clear timelines and deliverables. Monitoring and Reporting: - Collaborate with impact data analysts to develop evidence-based predictions and key insights on WWP programs and services. Routinely report on progress and trends toward quarterly and annual goals. - Utilize program operational and outcome data to develop evaluation reports (including visualization dashboards and written reports) that present clear visuals, key insights, and detailed program performance. - Communicate actionable insights to improve and optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of services and operations. - Collaborate with the MD&I operations specialist to maintain and report on MD&I operational systems. - Attend and actively participate in required training and/or meetings, including but not limited to New Teammate Orientation, WWP Cares, ASIST Suicide Prevention training, Leadership training, culture/team based training, or departmental huddles. - Other related duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES - Working knowledge of program evaluation principles and practice. - Advanced experience across multiple phases of the evaluation process, including instrument and protocol design, qualitative and quantitative data collection, data management, processing, and analysis. - Solid understanding of customer relationship management (CRM) or case management systems. - Hands-on experience with the Salesforce platform and related products. - Strong knowledge of evaluation design and methodologies, including quasi-experimental designs and survey methodology. - Proficient in using survey platforms such as Qualtrics to design and administer surveys, manage survey panels, and monitor survey performance. - Skilled in using data visualization tools such as Power BI to present data insights effectively. - Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to identify problems, analyze information, evaluate results, and implement effective solutions. - Proven ability to communicate complex data and evaluation findings clearly through both oral and written communication to diverse audiences, with strong meeting facilitation skills to guide discussions and foster collaborative decision-making. - Strong documentation skills. Role Description Savvas Learning Company is seeking a K-12 Literacy Curriculum Specialist that will cover the Southwest territory, which includes Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas. The Curriculum Specialist (CS) will work in close partnership with Curriculum Specialist Managers and Account Managers throughout the territory. As a Literacy and Humanities content specialist, the CS will partner directly with market sales and product management teams to support the sales process, from prospect to close, and to advance Savvas Learning Company products, services, and solutions in the Southwest market. To support this process, the Curriculum Specialist will develop and maintain ongoing relationships with school, state, regional, and/or district decision makers in the Southwest and share expertise in company offerings, pedagogy, and the competitive environment. Following the sales cycle, the Curriculum Specialist is also responsible for post-sales support and activation.
