• Refactor custom Appian plugins to remove filesystem, database, and logging dependencies incompatible with Appian Cloud • Collaborate with Appian Developers to remediate application objects and integrations impacted by cloud migration • Participate in structured migration governance processes, including technical documentation, status reporting, and risk tracking • Document refactor strategies, compatibility findings, deployment steps, and definitions of done • Package and deploy updated plugins across development, testing, and production environments • Lead production cutover preparation, rollback validation planning, and post-migration stabilization • Assess and remediate configuration or deployment gaps identified during plugin validation • Troubleshoot and resolve defects related to plugin behavior, integrations, or environmental differences • Implement secure, centralized logging approaches aligned with cloud deployment standards • Support regression testing across dependent Appian applications impacted by plugin updates

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain complex Appian applications supporting enterprise business processes • Lead remediation, conversion, and modernization efforts for custom Appian plugins • Analyze legacy plugin implementations and recommend scalable modernization approaches • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues • Collaborate with architects and technical leadership to define solution approaches • Support Appian platform upgrades and associated remediation activities • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to development teams • Participate in architecture discussions and implementation planning activities • Develop and maintain reusable components and integration standards • Ensure development activities align with security requirements and coding standards • Support integration efforts involving APIs, web services, and external systems • Assist with performance optimization and operational stability initiatives • Participate in Agile ceremonies • Collaborate closely with Scrum Masters, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to support delivery outcomes • Assist with technical estimation and risk identification activities • Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of complex production or deployment issues • Promote continuous improvement across development workflows • Support long-term modernization strategies within complex Appian environments • Identify opportunities to improve maintainability and delivery efficiency • Stay current on Appian platform updates and modernization best practices • Support knowledge-sharing and mentoring initiatives across the Appian practice • Provide technical guidance related to emerging Appian AI capabilities
