Overview Position: Processing Manager Location: U.S. Remote Pay: 72K + bonuses. Position Summary: The Processing Manager will guide the Processors to daily, weekly and monthly production goals, while ensuring the level of expected service, quality and integrity of the loans are maintained. This position will work with the Mortgage Loan Processors in the daily reviews of application pipeline and establishing daily priorities for the staff. The Processing Manager will be responsible for having mentoring sessions with the team members to instill awareness of the team member s goals, any challenges or areas of focus, maintaining accurate policies and procedures and ensuring opportunities are addressed with a plan identified for success. The Processing Manager will work with internal partners such as QC and Compliance to ensure quality standards are monitored and managed Responsibilities Duties and Responsibilities: - Review pipelines for timeliness, lock expiration, COE, loan contingency, etc. - Works with processors to manage the pipeline to ensure we meet the COE date. - Reviews/validates 14-day close submissions prior to submission to the underwriter for completeness. - Supports Sales Team by reviewing scenarios and assisting with structuring loan files reviewing income etc. - Supports Loan Consultants and production team, resolves or escalates file level issues if needed. - Reviews rush request and escalates to Nation Production Manager or National Processing Manager if necessary - Communicate training needs as needed to the management team. - Escalates to corporate managers if any operation staff issues are noticed. - Review and track monthly funding projection for the branch. - Review loans that are in processing that are still floating work with the LO/SM/BM to get loans reviewed for locks. - Coordinates rushes for doc drawing and funding with corporate management - Review files that are suspended by underwriting. - Reviews residential loan application file to verify that application data is complete and meets establishment standards, including type and amount of mortgage, borrower assets, liabilities, and length of employment. - Recommends that loan not meeting standards be denied. - Provides input to the development of product strategy and research and development of new and emerging products. - Establishes production and quality control standards. - Ensures all established costs, quality, and delivery commitments are met. - Determines responsibilities of assigned organization and staff positions to accomplish business objectives. - Trains and ensures all assigned employees are aware of and comply with company, government, and customer policies, procedures, and regulations. - Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications Desired Competencies: - Demonstrate advanced product knowledge of FHA, VA, Conventional and other loan programs such as Home Equity Lines of Credit, 2nd Mortgages, Home Improvement, down payment assistance and bond programs. - Demonstrate working knowledge of federal and state guidelines, rules and regulations such as TRID, RESPA, TILA, HMDA, etc. - Advanced ability to analyze complex tax returns and accurately calculate income for all types of borrowers. - Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism, customer service, and communication with all parties involved in the loan cycle. - Proficient with Encompass, or other paperless mortgage loan origination systems. - Understanding of all compliance regulations and investor guidelines. Desired Education/Experience: - High school diploma or general education degree (GED); - 5-7 years’ experience working with mortgage loans preferred; preferably as a Loan Processing Manager or Supervisor - Recent Mortgage Processing experience Other Duties: This job may require frequent sitting or standing for long periods of time.
