Role Description As a member of the Marriott International Procurement Team (MIP), the manager will focus on contributing to influencing the sourcing strategy for both food and non-food related commodities as well as developing and managing key vendor contract relationships for the cluster. The position will be responsible for identifying and developing effective supply chain partnership agreements to reduce cost and improve service conditions for all managed and participating franchise hotels, across all brands. The primary contracting targets will include mining “new and incremental value” from previously unmanaged vendor relationships within the business. - Contracting/Procurement Process - Relationship and Vendor Management - Data Analysis and Reporting - Property and Cluster Support - Direct P&L responsibility for rebates and savings for the cluster.
