Business Development Executive

Gaming Laboratories International, LLC

• Responsible for providing world-class customer service throughout the sales lifecycle - from lead generation through to needs analysis, to contract signing, and post-service follow-ups for the achievement of customer satisfaction. • Regularly connects (remotely and in-person) with new and existing customers. • Build relationships with assigned clients by acting as a primary point of contact. • Actively identifies and pursues new business opportunities with potential clients. • Develops tailored strategies to meet each client’s goals, identifies upselling and cross-selling opportunities to increase our market share. • Grows business with these existing clients by identifying solutions and services to aid their expansion efforts in order to achieve year-on-year sales. • Meets or exceeds sales targets and revenue goals by proactively managing pipelines and forecasts. • Manages contracts, contract renewals, and participates in negotiations and pricing discussions to align with both client and company objectives. • Responsible for project management with close interaction with the internal departments to secure customer satisfaction and client success. • Maintains a strong understanding of gaming regulations, processes, and procedures • Completes research on legislation and newspaper articles daily that has any effect or impact on gaming, lottery, and voting testing, and accurately relays an analysis of the impact on the Company to the appropriate personnel. • Reviews market analysis to determine customer needs. • Mains contact between client and the training coordinator for in-service training classes both in GLI offices and at client locations. • Completes translations, as assigned. • Regularly and consistently updates the CRM system for all assigned customers. • Works closely with internal cross functional teams in support of sales strategies and initiatives. • Participates, as assigned, in tradeshows, conferences and roundtables. • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience working in a previous sales/development/government role is required.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience working in the gaming industry is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Sales, or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Must have experience creating and delivering convincing presentations to senior-level clients.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with experience in collaborative decision-making across technology, sales, and customer teams.
  • Must have the ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines, while maintaining a realistic balance among priorities.
  • Must demonstrate a high degree of attention to quality, detail, and accuracy.
  • Must have the ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English and Brazilian Portuguese sufficiently to perform the duties of this position.
  • Fluency in Spanish as a third language is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Must have the ability to work non-traditional hours, including weekends and holidays, and extended hours beyond the traditional workweek, as needed.
