Senior Epic HB, Hospital Billing Analyst

• The Senior Epic HB (Hospital Billing) Analyst provides sophisticated level design, build and implementation assignments/ projects. • Initiates, facilitates or leads meetings with end-user/business owner and other EIS teams. • May be lead on team projects: translating customer needs, meeting deliverables, status reporting, and managing customer relationships and expectations. • Fills in on various work/projects in the absence of the Team Lead. • Identifies and works through teamwork issues. • Participates in re-engineering of operational work-flow processes with end-users/business owners. • Facilitates end-user/business owner needs into system specifications and configuration requirements. • Provides high-level expertise in design integration and touch points with other Epic modules and/or other applications. • Orchestrates work groups within the department or within project scope.

Job Requirements

  • Four (4) plus years of Epic HB (Hospital Billing) build/implementation experience. Solid grasp of Hospital Billing workflows.
  • Advanced Epic HB design, build, testing experience (preferred to have Epic re-design or re-engineering experience).
  • Strongly prefer experience working with healthcare information management systems and clinical operations experience.
  • Preferred to have Payer/Plan DOFR experience. HB Claims and/or Charging experience desired.
  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare, or related field. (preferred)
  • Epic HB (Hospital Billing) Certificate required.

Role Description DT Professional Services is seeking a Program Control Analyst to support government programs. This role utilizes a variety of tools and techniques to monitor projects from initiation through closeout, working closely with Project Managers and key stakeholders to track progress, identify and resolve issues, and implement corrective actions as needed. The position is primarily responsible for maintaining accurate project financial documentation, preparing financial and performance reports, and providing analytical support to the project team. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in financial tracking for government contracts. Strong analytical skills are required, including experience developing and managing Estimates at Completion (EACs), reconciling and analyzing financial data, and ensuring timely submission of monthly CDRLs (Contract Data Requirement Lists) in accordance with contract requirements. - Provide financial and administrative support to Federal programs across the full project lifecycle, including project setup, budgeting, forecasting, vendor management, invoicing, execution, and contract closeout. - Manage billing and accounts receivable processes, including invoice preparation and submission (WAWF as required), funding administration, collections, aging reports. - Develop and maintain vertical and horizontal relationships to bolster solid support systems; coordinating across functional areas to ensure monthly contractual deliverables are met timely and accurately. - Partner with Program/Project Managers to establish and track cost, schedule, and scope baselines; analyze variances, monitor risks, and recommend corrective actions. - Develop financial metrics, cost performance reports, and forecasts using data from timesheets, invoices, and financial systems. - Support and advance operational improvements in the program’s daily execution, with a focus on finance and personnel management. - Coordinate cross-functionally and serve as liaison to clients, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure timely deliverables and alignment with contractual requirements. - Support operational improvements and implementation of project management and finance best practices. - Provide responsive customer support and perform other duties as assigned.
