Solution Architect
Acxiom
• The Senior Solution Architect works across other Solution architects for that client to oversee end-to-end solution or component design and implementation technical oversight through to transition into Production. • Leads implementation of Acxiom solutions and/or manages complex change that significantly impacts an existing solution. • Ensures individualized solution incorporates clients’ and Acxiom’s overall business strategy and technical vision. • Technical lead in all solution communications with client and overseeing its progress throughout the implementation phase. • Activities are focused on client consulting for proposed changes, process improvements, issues or research of client data inquiries. • An associate in this role is functioning independently as the technical Subject Matter Expert for the end to end solution and providing direction to other Solution Architects to complete the work. • They are expected to coordinate technical aspects of changes, issues and research in a self-directed manner. • They are expected to provide solution consulting for the client and create and maintain a solution roadmap for future enhancements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelors Degree is required for this role.
- Minimum 5 years experience in technical roles and minimum 3 years experience in architect roles
- Minimum 5 years experience with database marketing, direct marketing or interactive marketing environments
- Minimum 5 years experience working in an external client facing environment
- Minimum 5 years experience with change management procedures
- Minimum 5 years of Acxiom experience

The solutions engineer plays a vital role in bridging the gap between client expectations, product capabilities, and implementation. As a Solution Engineer, you are the Solution Owner for the life of the account You will combine deep technical expertise with executive-level business acumen to design solutions that win business, ensure those solutions are delivered faithfully, align with our product capabilities and roadmap and drive long-term growth. You act as the "Solver" who navigates the technical "How" and the "Influencer" who guides the client to the strategic "Why". Typical Duties You are the subject matter expert and provide deep understanding of cloud architecture and system architecture; all Eagle Eye products and capabilities; in addition to keeping up to date on product changes and future roadmap. Your accountability for the solution spans the full client journey: 1. The Win Phase (Pre-Sales) Drive the technical discovery, custom demos, and Proof of Concepts (POCs) to secure the technical win. Collaborate with AEs to complete technical responses (RFI/RFP), ensuring accurate scope definition and package estimation. Design complex, enterprise-level solutions that align client goals with platform capabilities, identifying and closing any potential "solution gaps" early. 2. The Implementation Phase (Bridging the Gap). Act as the guardian of the solution during implementation. Ensure the project remains "in the spirit" of what was sold and prevent scope creep. Support internal and external kickoffs to ensure a seamless handover to Professional Services, translating the vision into actionable use cases. Consult with delivery teams to solve challenges using the platform's existing capabilities rather than unnecessary custom builds, protecting the Product Roadmap. 3. The Growth Phase (Post-Implementation & Renewal) Act as an escalation point for solution-related issues post-implementation, tracking adoption to ensure the client derives maximum value over the long term.
