You will define integration patterns, data models, security standards, and architecture guidelines while working closely with engineering teams to build scalable, secure, and future-ready data platforms. - Design enterprise data platform and solution architectures. - Define integration patterns between on-premises systems and Azure services. - Design Microsoft Fabric architectures, including Lakehouse, Warehouse, OneLake, and semantic models. - Develop scalable data models and enterprise integration solutions. - Define metadata, lineage, data quality, and governance standards. - Design secure and cost-efficient enterprise data architectures. - Produce architecture documentation, standards, and technical guidelines. - Collaborate with engineering and business teams to ensure successful solution implementation. Qualifications - Strong experience designing enterprise data platform architectures. - Hands-on experience with Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and Power BI. - Experience designing Microsoft Fabric solutions. - Experience integrating enterprise systems with Azure cloud services. - Strong understanding of data modeling, metadata management, and data lineage. - Knowledge of API, batch, and event-driven integration patterns. - Experience designing secure, scalable, and highly available data solutions. - Strong documentation and architecture governance skills. Role Description Client is seeking a Senior Data or Systems Engineer to support a large government contractor on a long-term federal healthcare technology program. This role will support a Health-related initiative focused on improving the connection between healthcare data, readiness data, electronic health records, clinical decision support, and operational readiness visibility. The project supports a federal health IT program connected to the government healthcare ecosystem.
