Role Description A client of ours is working through a merger with two other locations, so there are several projects that need alignment to get all technologies together on the same page, as well as to prepare the infrastructure and eventual move of certain applications to the cloud. This particular Project Manager will be responsible for: - Leading the application rationalization and gradual move of their applications to the cloud (Microsoft/Azure). - Continuous data center depreciation and consolidation project of smaller data centers scattered around campus. - Leading the assessment, planning, and execution of a multi-year infrastructure modernization initiative focused on cloud migration and data center consolidation. - Partnering with infrastructure, application, security, and business stakeholders to establish migration criteria. - Evaluating application readiness for cloud adoption. - Overseeing the migration of on-premises workloads to cloud-based environments. - Supporting the organization's strategy to exit one of its data centers while coordinating implementation activities with external service integrators such as AHEAD, Optum, or similar partners. Qualifications - Infrastructure project management expertise. - Cloud migration experience. - Application portfolio assessment capabilities. - Strong stakeholder management skills.
