Role Description We are seeking a Senior Principal Engineer to drive the architectural strategy and technical execution across our 80+ engineer Application Portfolio, encompassing all Web, Mobile, and Headless surfaces. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role where you will set the vision for our technology transformation, bridging the gap between deep frontend architecture and scalable, agentic API-first platforms. Qualifications - Extensive experience (15+ years) as a senior/principal-level software engineer with deep expertise in Frontend architecture and large-scale application systems. - Proven success leading technology transformation across organizations of 80+ engineers. - Deep understanding of modern API design (REST, GraphQL) and its application in highly distributed, agentic environments. - Demonstrated experience with the Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar agent-integration patterns. - Strong product mindset: proven history of collaborating with Product leaders to solve complex customer problems with customer-obsession. - Ability to balance high-level architectural strategy with hands-on, production-level coding. - Extensive experience evaluating and adopting new frontend technologies and frameworks, expertly balancing innovation with long-term maintainability. - Proven track record of designing and scaling robust frontend architectures that support high-traffic, complex user interfaces across massive datasets. - Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to facilitate clarity and drive consensus across distributed teams.
