• Build and configure Azure cloud infrastructure to support the data platform. • Provision infrastructure using Terraform and/or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates. • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps . • Deploy and configure the Azure Databricks platform, ensuring it is production-ready. • Automate infrastructure deployment and platform management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC). • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to accelerate platform delivery. • Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues and optimize platform reliability.

Role Description As a Cloud Management and Automation Engineer, you will be crucial in managing, automating, and securing our AWS deployments while defining and visualizing Service Level Metrics. You will collaborate closely with various teams to optimize our cloud infrastructure, enhance security measures, and streamline deployment processes. The ideal candidate will deeply understand AWS services, automation tools, and best practices for cloud architecture. Additional duties include collaborating with the internal team to automate manual processes or provide increased efficiencies. Need to have some AWS Certifications. No Certs no submittal. Job Responsibilities - AWS Infrastructure Management: - Assume ownership of the company's master organizational account. - Understand organizational policy implementation and enforcement to sub-accounts. - Administrate various AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, etc. - Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity planning to ensure scalability and reliability. - Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like CloudFormation or Terraform (preferred). - Work closely with development and operations teams to automate deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD). - Advise, develop, and maintain scripts for automating routine tasks and infrastructure provisioning. - Implement automation for monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure timely incident response. - Configure and manage AWS security services such as AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM), AWS WAF, AWS Shield, etc. - Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities. - Collaborate with the Security Team to improve and update security policies and posture. - Implement and enforce security company guidelines and best practices for AWS environments. - Collaborate with development teams to provide agile deployments and optimize application performance and reliability on AWS. - Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams on AWS-related issues and best practices. - Participate in cross-functional projects to enhance overall infrastructure and operational efficiency. - Familiar with OIDC/SSO protocols & IRSA (IAM Roles for Service Accounts) implementations. - Work closely with Network and Systems Teams to define and demonstrate Service Level metrics across all infrastructure. - Define appropriate data pipelines for Service Level Alerting and visualization with Grafana. - All other duties as assigned. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Proven experience as an AWS Administrator or Engineer, with a strong understanding of AWS services and architecture. - Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. - Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools like CloudFormation or Terraform. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD). - In-depth knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance standards. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. - Familiarity with event management with products such as Apache Kafka and RabbitMQ. - Proficiency in SQL/InfluxQL, and working with timeseries databases. - Proficiency with Data Streaming computation products such as Apache Flink. - Proficiency with GoLang. - Familiarity with Python. - Familiarity with Rust is preferred but not required. Education & Experience - AWS certifications include AWS Certified Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, etc. - Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. - Knowledge of serverless computing and AWS Lambda. - Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, ELK stack, Prometheus, etc.

• Own the cloud data platform end‑to‑end, including environment provisioning, networking, security, automation, and operational readiness • Design and implement cloud‑native data pipelines and platform components that are scalable, observable, and cost‑efficient • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data workflows, infrastructure, and application deployments using Azure DevOps • Implement infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform/Bicep) to automate Snowflake, Azure services, networking, and security configurations • Set up and manage orchestration & monitoring frameworks, including Prefect, ADF, or similar tools • Develop API‑driven integrations using MuleSoft to connect cloud and on‑prem systems securely • Lead the modernization to Snowflake/Databricks, including re‑architecting pipelines, data models, and operational workflows • Establish platform observability, including logging, alerting, data quality checks, and operational dashboards • Troubleshoot complex cloud and data platform issues, ensuring reliability and uptime • Collaborate with architects and business partners to design cloud‑ready, production‑grade solutions • Mentor engineers on cloud engineering, DevOps, and data engineering best practices • Evaluate and introduce new cloud capabilities, tools, and automation patterns to improve platform maturity
