Azure DevOps Engineer – Azure DevOps, Terraform

Applaudo

• Design, configure, validate, and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines. • Build and maintain reusable YAML templates and pipeline components. • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform. • Configure Policy-as-Code gates using Checkov, TFLint, and OPA/Rego. • Integrate Azure Key Vault for secure secrets management. • Configure workload identity and secure authentication for deployment pipelines. • Support infrastructure deployments, rollback procedures, and pipeline troubleshooting. • Collaborate with application teams to improve deployment workflows. • Maintain technical documentation for pipelines, infrastructure, and deployment standards. • Drive automation initiatives and continuous platform improvements while ensuring security and compliance.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is desired, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or similar role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines.
  • Expert knowledge of YAML pipelines, reusable templates, variable groups, and service connections.
  • Experience designing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
  • Experience integrating Terraform into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Working knowledge of GitHub Actions.
  • Experience implementing Policy-as-Code using Checkov, TFLint, and OPA/Rego.
  • Experience integrating Azure Key Vault for secrets management.
  • Experience implementing workload identity or federated identity authentication.
  • Strong understanding of deployment strategies, rollback procedures, and Git-based workflows.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
  • Upper-Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency (B2+).
