Role Description This position will be on the front line for generating interest in Red River’s service offerings. Sales Development Representatives make cold calls to prospects to identify decision-makers, qualify sales leads, and set up appointments for Account Executives. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable sales experience, skills and potentially grow into an Account Executive role. - Uncover opportunities for Account Executives to sell innovative offerings for IT Managed Services, Cloud, Cyber Security, Voice solutions and More. - Make effective use of the telephone, email, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, Outreach IO, social media and other sales tools. - Work to achieve monthly quotas for qualified sales opportunities. - Work closely with the Sales team to schedule meetings and uncover new sales opportunities. - Work closely with marketing to manage inbound sales leads and develop pipeline. - Live and breathe Outreach for lead and opportunity management. Qualifications - 1-3 years of sales experience. - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. - Ability to prospect for new business by phone on a daily basis. - Ability to build professional rapport by telephone, email, and LinkedIn with prospects at Executive or C level. - Ability to uncover opportunities via phone conversation, email, LinkedIn through probing questions. Requirements - Preferred experience using Outreach IO, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn - Sales Navigator. - Projects confidence with strong communication skills. - Ability to establish and build rapport with potential new clients. - Strong ability to work in a team-based environment. - Ability to be a self-starter and possess good time management skills. - Be resilient, coach-able, and natural at prospecting. - Possess excellent organizational skills and ability to efficiently multi-task. - Have a strong focus on day-to-day operational excellence. - Have a personal style that builds trust and inspires loyalty. - Should be motivated, proactive, and an active listener.
