Role Description We are seeking a dedicated Integrations Developer to build, maintain, and manage our integration platforms, ensuring scalable, reliable, and secure data flows across systems. This role is crucial as integrations become central to our service delivery. - Design, build, and optimize workflows. - Manage connectors and APIs. - Provide ongoing support for integration performance. - Transform how data flows at Syndio and build the future of all data ingestion across the company. Why this job is exciting: - Design and build workflows on various integration platforms to automate data flows. - Ensure HRIS and ATS integrations are fully operational with reliable data flow and minimal manual intervention. - Manage connectors and APIs, including configuring existing and building custom ones. - Monitor and support integration performance by troubleshooting errors and maintaining documentation. - Collaborate across engineering and customer success teams to guarantee reliable integrations. - Establish integration platform governance and best practices. - Enable Implementation Managers with repeatable onboarding workflows. - Create a comprehensive knowledge base with playbooks and documentation. Qualifications - 2+ years proven experience building and maintaining data integrations using modern integration platforms / iPaaS tools (e.g., Workato, Boomi, MuleSoft, Zapier, Tray.io, Celigo). - Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, and authentication protocols (REST, SOAP, OAuth, API keys). - Solid programming knowledge, preferably Python & SQL. - Experience with data orchestration, including scheduling, sequencing, and monitoring workflows. - Ability to troubleshoot and monitor integration workflows. - Familiarity with HRIS, ATS, CRM, or ERP systems and their data models. - Strong documentation habits and ability to establish integration best practices. - Excellent collaboration and communication skills. Requirements - Background in data with deep knowledge of data security, compliance, and governance. - Solid exposure to customer onboarding processes and cross-system data flows. - Experienced with data integration platforms, APIs, and data orchestration. - Familiar with cloud infrastructure, databases, and data warehouses (e.g., GCP, AWS, PostgresSQL, MySQL, BigQuery, Snowflake). - Designed scalable integration architectures and can contribute to long-term roadmap planning. - Strong communicator, collaborating effectively with both technical and non-technical teams. - Assume positive intent, are humble and eager, and value partnership over perfection. - Value a remote work environment and know that it requires greater intentionality. - Based in Calgary and legally authorized to work in Alberta without need for additional visa support.
