E&C Consultants
• Supporting the development of backend services that power our meter data integration platform • Connecting with external systems including supplier APIs and SFTP portals • Contributing to the development and maintenance of integrations with third-party supplier and grid operator APIs • Supporting the implementation of data exchange mechanisms with SFTP portals • Developing and maintaining backend APIs using Python (FastAPI) • Working with SQLAlchemy to manage database operations • Gaining practical experience implementing OAuth 2.0 and other authentication mechanisms • Writing unit and integration tests to verify the correctness of integration components • Collaborating with senior engineers, product managers, and cross-functional teams
Job Requirements
- 0-2 years of professional backend development experience
- Solid understanding of Python
- Familiarity with RESTful API concepts
- Comfortable working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)
- Strong knowledge of OAuth 2.0
- Experience or enthusiasm for integrating with third-party APIs
- Experience with SFTP protocols
- Familiarity with testing concepts and frameworks for backend code
- Basic familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure) and Docker containers
