Role Description As a CRO Specialist at Social Scout, you'll be the strategic lead responsible for uncovering conversion bottlenecks and running end-to-end experiment roadmaps across 5–6 client brands. You will analyze web data, develop high-impact test hypotheses, brief web designers and developers, and manage test execution in tools like VWO, Convert, or Optimizely. This is not a "set it and forget it" role. You will own the entire experimentation pipeline—from initial audit and user research to statistical analysis and post-test rollouts. You'll work closely with our Account Executives, Landing Page Designers, and developers to turn user friction into profit. What You'll Be Doing - Data & User Research: Conduct quantitative analysis (Google Analytics 4) and qualitative research (Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, surveys, screen recordings, heatmaps) to identify drop-off points, UX friction, and revenue opportunities across homepages, PDPs, collections, and carts. - Strategy & Test Roadmaps: Translate research insights into prioritized testing roadmaps (using ICE/PIE frameworks) and write detailed, conversion-focused PRDs (Product Requirement Documents) for designers and developers. - Experiment Management: Set up, launch, and monitor A/B and multivariate tests using leading experimentation platforms. Ensure proper tracking implementation and QA tests across devices and browsers prior to launch. - Design & Dev Coordination: Collaborate closely with our Landing Page/PDP Designer to map out high-converting wireframes and brief developers on code-level variations. - Analysis & Reporting: Track, analyze, and present statistical results. Create clear, actionable post-test reports explaining why a variation won or lost, and what the business impact (LTV, CVR, AOV) is for the client. - Cross-Channel Alignment: Ensure on-site CRO strategies align seamlessly with the email and SMS customer journeys managed by our lifecycle marketing team. Qualifications - 2+ years of hands-on CRO/A/B testing experience specifically for DTC eCommerce brands (Shopify preferred). - Proven track record of running successful A/B test roadmaps and driving quantifiable lift in conversion rates, AOV, or revenue per visitor. - High proficiency in Google Analytics 4 and qualitative user research tools (Hotjar, Clarity, survey tools). - Deep technical understanding of experimentation tools (e.g., VWO, Convert, Optimizely, Klaviyo forms, Rebuy, or similar Shopify apps). - Solid grasp of statistical significance, sample sizing, and test duration math. - Experience creating clear briefs and wireframes for designers and frontend developers. - Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JS (you don't need to write full code, but you must know what is technically feasible to test). Benefits - Mentorship from proven performance marketers who have generated tens of millions in DTC revenue. - Opportunities to grow into a Lead Strategist or Head of CRO as this new service offering expands. - A fast-moving, supportive team with regular wins to celebrate.
