Cloud Migration Engineer

• Evaluar los hosts locales y realizar descubrimiento a través de procesos comerciales, CPU, memoria, almacenamiento, dependencias y patrones de tiempo de ejecución para determinar la preparación para la migración. • Analizar cargas de trabajo basadas en funcionalidad, criticidad empresarial, requisitos de resiliencia y tolerancia a interrupciones para determinar la colocación adecuada de computación en la nube. • Planificar y provisionar la capacidad de infraestructura en la nube necesaria para soportar la migración, pruebas y ejecución en producción. • Ejecutar pruebas UAT y paralelas en producción, comparar resultados, capturar evidencia y solucionar discrepancias hasta el cierre. • Realizar ajuste y optimización del rendimiento para asegurar que las cargas de trabajo migradas sean estables, escalables, eficientes y listas para producción. • Colaborar con el equipo de ingeniería de aplicaciones, infraestructura y plataformas para finalizar los planes de migración, el enfoque de lanzamiento, los criterios de validación y las consideraciones de reversión. • Gestionar la preparación del lanzamiento, ejecutar actividades de despliegue en producción y completar procedimientos de chequeo y validación posteriores al lanzamiento. • Apoyar la desactivación de hosts locales heredados después de la migración y validación exitosa. • Diseñar, mejorar e implementar marcos de automatización y soluciones asistidas por IA para permitir migraciones en la nube repetibles, eficientes y a gran escala. • Documentar procedimientos de migración, aprendizajes operacionales, riesgos y mejores prácticas para mejorar el modelo de ejecución de la fábrica.
Job Requirements
- Educación: Título de licenciatura (Bachelor’s) o maestría (Master’s) en Ciencia de la Computación, Ingeniería, Matemáticas Aplicadas o disciplina cuantitativa relacionada.
- Experiencia: 3-5 años de experiencia práctica en un entorno colaborativo basado en equipo.
- Programación: Dominio profesional en Python, Java o un lenguaje similar de programación/scripting.
- Sistemas: Fuertes fundamentos de Unix/Linux con la capacidad de resolver problemas de aplicación, despliegue, entorno y ejecución en tiempo de ejecución.
- Metodología: Familiaridad con prácticas de SDLC, modelos de entrega CI/CD, gestión de cambios y despliegues basados en Kubernetes.

Role Description We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Lead Cloud Engineer to serve as an Azure Subject Matter Expert (SME). In this role, you will design, implement, and manage secure Azure Government and hybrid cloud environments. You will ensure all infrastructure solutions are CMMC Level 2 compliant, meet strict federal cybersecurity standards, and align with enterprise business goals.
