• Provide technical leadership in designing, architecting, and evolving distributed backend ecosystems (Node.js), ensuring seamless integration with Web and Mobile applications (React/Flutter) • Continuously evolve and improve our solutions in terms of software quality, processes, performance, and new features • Define and drive architectural patterns to ensure resilience, high availability, scalability, and low latency under high request load • Perform technical refinement of complex initiatives, assessing technical feasibility and supporting the product team in defining the long-term vision for solutions • Guide the team in applying software engineering best practices (Clean Code, Clean Architecture, Design Patterns and SOLID) across both Backend and client-side (Web and Mobile) ecosystems • Provide technical support and mentorship to developers, guiding solution design and resolving complex architectural and operational bottlenecks • Promote and establish a rigorous code review culture to ensure software quality and maintainability • Support our distributed solutions, acting as a technical bridge between backend engineers and client-side (web/mobile) teams • Document architecture and technical decisions whenever necessary • Ensure team alignment with the Group’s software architecture and information security directives • Maintain application technical health through APM monitoring, API error rates, latency, and database health metrics • Design and evolve the architecture of distributed systems to guarantee high availability, resilience, and low latency under heavy request loads • Coordinate and structure strategies for complex releases (Canary, Feature Flags and Remote Config), integrating backend service deployments with app/web launches

• Design, build, and operate production backend services using Rust and other strongly engineered backend technologies. • Own backend components from design through deployment, observability, incident learning, and ongoing maintenance. • Modernize existing systems incrementally, reducing technical debt while protecting reliability and business continuity. • Develop clean, maintainable, production-grade code with strong attention to correctness, testability, performance, and operational behavior. • Debug complex production and pre-production issues across services, data flows, infrastructure, and deployment pipelines. • Define practical service boundaries, API contracts, data models, and integration patterns that support long-term maintainability. • Improve reliability, observability, monitoring, alerting, and deployment workflows for backend systems. • Use AI-assisted and agentic coding tools to accelerate exploration, implementation, testing, debugging, and documentation while remaining accountable for final quality. • Collaborate with frontend, product, infrastructure, security, and operations partners to deliver complete and reliable product capabilities. • Evaluate architectural options and communicate trade-offs clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Contribute to code reviews, design reviews, documentation, and engineering practices that raise the quality of the team. • Identify risks, simplify complex technical problems, and make pragmatic decisions in ambiguous situations.
