• Contributing to the development of customer U.S.'s satellite GNC systems. • Involved in the full lifecycle of development, from requirements definition through operations. • Design and implement GNC designs for new spacecraft designs to accommodate a variety of new mission payloads onto Airbus spacecraft platforms. • Analyze, design, and/or develop GNC systems to include: • Ensure the maximum reuse of the existing Airbus heritage products and if necessary, identify need for modification. • Ability to drive multiple design activities (programs or mission) – could lead to spacecraft, payload, satellite bus, and/or launch integration activities.

• Design, develop, and deliver scalable multi-tenant SaaS applications using .NET, Angular, SQL Server/PostgreSQL, and AWS. • Own end-to-end delivery of features, from domain modeling and backend services through frontend implementation, automated testing, deployment, and production support. • Generate production-ready code using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, and Replit-based workflows. • Collaborate with Architects to define application architecture and validate technical approaches through Proof of Concepts (PoCs). • Design systems using modern architectural patterns including Domain-Driven Design (DDD), CQRS, Event-Driven Architecture, Backend-for-Frontend (BFF), API Gateway. • Build modern Angular applications using standalone components, Signals, RxJS, Reactive Forms, and reusable UI architectures. • Design efficient database models and optimize SQL performance for high-volume SaaS applications. • Implement scalable integration, messaging, and distributed system patterns. • Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root cause analysis, and continuously improve system reliability and performance. • Mentor engineers through architecture guidance, technical leadership, code reviews, and knowledge sharing. • Drive engineering best practices around quality, automation, security, observability, and AI-powered software development.

• Provide expert technical consultancy and lead technical deliverables throughout the project system's lifecycle to ensure project deliverables align with client expectations, industry standards and regulations. • Serve as technical lead for signal systems engineering with a focus on CBTC and other signaling system related deliverables, providing specialized knowledge and guidance to project teams and acting as the primary technical interface with clients and suppliers. • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and stakeholder communication; lead and coordinate supplier proposals, studies, quantitative analyses, and technical workshops, ensuring on-time, on-budget completion and adherence to scope and quality resulting in the highest level of client satisfaction. • Prepare project proposals, including the creation of methodologies, budget estimations, and project timelines. • Support business development initiatives (approximately 10–20% of the role) by contributing to client acquisition strategies, preparing and delivering presentations, and maintaining strong client relationships. • Contribute to the strategic development of signal systems engineering services by enhancing service offerings and monitoring external market trends to identify and secure future project opportunities. • Attend business fairs, client meetings, and industry conferences to represent DB E.C.O.
