Role Description We are seeking a Senior Systems Coordinator to provide leadership and coordination across advanced space-based programs, supporting the development of space weather instruments and observatories. This is a remote position based out of Boulder, Colorado, supporting full lifecycle system execution. - Lead coordination efforts across system design, development, and integration activities - Support planning and execution of testing, validation, and system verification - Facilitate collaboration across multidisciplinary engineering teams and stakeholders - Contribute to integration readiness, launch support activities, and operational transitions - Assist with post-launch checkout, commissioning, and ongoing system performance monitoring Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or related technical field - Experience supporting complex system development, preferably within aerospace or space environments - Understanding of systems engineering processes and lifecycle execution - Ability to operate in a remote, team-oriented environment with distributed stakeholders - Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Company Description

• Develop and test embedded C/C++ flight software for satellite platforms • Contribute across the full lifecycle: Requirements definition & trade studies Software architecture & development Integration with flight hardware Verification, validation, and operations Support GNC-related software integration and system performance analysis • Build internal tools to evaluate flight software performance and mission compatibility • Work closely with hardware, systems, and test teams in a highly collaborative environment • Execute testing across: Unit, module, and system levels Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) / FlatSat environments • Develop test frameworks, tools, and ground support software • Support debugging, validation, and anomaly resolution • Contribute to modeling & simulation efforts • Support new mission concepts and proposals • Evaluate impacts of new hardware, architectures, and mission profiles

• Lead the development of the UST-Lite software-defined radio (SDR) • Design and implement embedded C/C++ software for LEON3 softcore processors • Architect autoboot mechanisms for FPGA and soft processor initialization • Integrate SpaceWire and other communication interfaces • Collaborate closely with FPGA engineers and quality assurance teams • Take ownership of software system integration, debugging, and requirements traceability • Develop embedded C/C++ & Python software for LEON3 softcore processors • Implement software mechanisms to support autoboot loading of FPGAs and LEON softcore processors • Define and implement commands, telemetry, and configuration mechanisms for multiple SDR operational modes • Review system-level requirements and generate, maintain, and verify lower-level software requirements
