• Contributing to the development of customer U.S.'s satellite GNC systems. • Involved in the full lifecycle of development, from requirements definition through operations. • Design and implement GNC designs for new spacecraft designs to accommodate a variety of new mission payloads onto Airbus spacecraft platforms. • Analyze, design, and/or develop GNC systems to include: • Ensure the maximum reuse of the existing Airbus heritage products and if necessary, identify need for modification. • Ability to drive multiple design activities (programs or mission) – could lead to spacecraft, payload, satellite bus, and/or launch integration activities.

Flight Software Engineer

• Contribute to the development and testing of our satellite flight software. • Involved in the full lifecycle of flight software development, from requirements definition through operations. • Contribute to mission concept development, in-house modeling and simulation capabilities, and proposal writing. • Provide autonomous support of complex assignments, under the leadership of the Software Team Lead and Software Engineering Manager. • Upgrade existing flight software for new missions. • Develop in-house tools to analyze flight software performance and assess compatibility with new mission and conops. • Develop and execute flight software verification and validation tests at various levels. • Work with manufacturing engineers to support installation onto test environments and eventual flight hardware. • Participate in anomaly resolution activities and patch existing flight software. • Develop, integrate, and test flight software applications using spacecraft flight software frameworks such as NASA's Core Flight System (cFS).
Satellite Systems I&T Engineer

• Support the U.S. satellite functional verification and validation activity. • Map technical requirements to verification and validation strategies that ensure product quality. • Develop test plans and test procedures, and execute and report the test results. • Review the satellite functional specification and develop the test plan to verify and validate the requirements. • Design and build automated testing systems, tooling and/or ground support equipment (GSE) to optimize production and test workflow. • Execute and validate test documentation and equipment, then train others to run validated procedures/equipment. • Troubleshoot issues with hardware and/or equipment, collect and analyze test data, and write/review test reports, flags/non-conformances and other documentation. • Support system architecture trade studies and requirements development to meet mission needs. • Revise the satellite functional specification for new mission and customer needs. • Generate system architecture data products, including spacecraft CONOPS, algorithm descriptions, and interface documents.
