Junior Business Development Associate

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records for opportunities, contacts, partners, agencies, contract vehicles, and customer interactions. • Track opportunity stages, due dates, next steps, owners, estimated values, probability, and capture status. • Support weekly pipeline reviews by preparing updates, identifying stale opportunities, and flagging missing information. • Ensure every qualified opportunity has a clear owner, next action, timeline, and decision point. • Conduct research on federal agencies, programs, contract vehicles, recompetes, forecasts, budgets, incumbents, and procurement activity. • Monitor sources such as SAM.gov, agency forecasts, SPRUCE (VA), GSA, NASA SEWP, FPDS, GovWin or similar tools, and relevant industry updates. • Support early-stage capture activities by gathering information on customers, incumbents, competitors, partners, and contract history. • Assist with opportunity qualification using MO’s bid/no-bid criteria.
Job Requirements
- Experience or exposure to federal contracting, GovCon, business development, capture, proposals, or agency research.
- Familiarity with SAM.gov, FPDS, GovWin, GSA eBuy, NASA SEWP, agency forecasts, or similar platforms.
- Experience using HubSpot, Salesforce, Monday.com, Microsoft Dynamics, Airtable, or similar CRM/project management systems.
- Understanding of VA, HHS, CMS, DHA, CDC, or related health and civilian markets.
- Interest in AI, digital transformation, software delivery, product strategy, human-centered design, data, or cloud modernization.
- Experience working in a structured, metrics-driven, accountability-focused business environment.
