Role Description As a Senior QA Manual Engineer, you will own the quality assurance strategy, test planning, and manual execution for mission-critical applications. You will act as the primary anchor for system reliability, establishing comprehensive test plans across web, mobile, and API layers to identify risks early in the development lifecycle. While this is primarily a manual testing role, an understanding of automation concepts is required to collaborate effectively with automation engineers and help identify test cases ideal for automation script transition. Your success is measured by test coverage, defect detection efficiency, and your ability to drive quality standards across cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities - Design, document, and execute structured test plans, test cases, and edge-case scenarios for complex software applications. - Perform thorough functional, regression, integration, and API testing to ensure robust software delivery. - Log, track, and prioritize complex defects with precise steps to reproduce, partnering closely with developers to drive root-cause analysis. - Identify candidates for test automation and assist in defining test flows for automated script transition. - Elevate team output through test case reviews, risk assessment sessions, and mentoring mid-level/junior QA engineers on QA methodologies. Qualifications - 5+ years of dedicated experience in software quality assurance with a strong focus on manual testing. - Deep expertise in functional, regression, boundary, exploratory, and acceptance testing across web and mobile platforms. - Strong experience testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman, Charles Proxy, or Swagger. - Prior exposure or foundational experience with automation tools/concepts (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or basic scripting) to bridge manual and automated testing efforts. - Proficiency with test management tools (Jira, Zephyr, TestRail) and database query languages (SQL) for data validation. - Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal) for collaboration with US-based clients. - Mandatory experience in nearshore/offshore client-facing startup cultures. • Generate test documentation, perform end-to-end testing, and build and execute automated test cases • Translate business requirements and processes into technical requirements and configuration settings • Identify and assess risks to programs or projects and recommend risk mitigation strategies • Create test strategies ensuring solutions meet functionality, performance, and reliability standards • Collaborate with team leads and engineering resources to strategize on the testing approach • Execute end-to-end testing efficiently and according to set deadlines • Support and complete test orchestration requiring problem-solving and analysis • Record, log, and track defects in the system and coordinate resolutions • Assess test results to identify and document defects or undesirable results • Direct projects from a quality assurance perspective with end-user focus • Independently own a workstream/product line throughout the full life cycle of the project • Participate in daily engineering meetings to inform teammates and management of status • Assist the in-house support team with product defect exploration as needed • Troubleshoot and analyze technical issues related to software applications and reports • Present product expertise in training and implementation environments • Perform other duties as assigned

• Act as the EMEA subject matter expert for precision machining processes (e.g., CNC grinding, milling, turning, honing), representing the region within the Global Supplier Quality team. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across suppliers producing high-precision automotive fuel system components to enhance quality and efficiency. • Establish and implement robust process controls and advanced metrology practices to ensure extremely tight tolerances (±0.001 mm or better). • Lead new product introduction (NPI) activities using APQP and PPAP to ensure a Zero Defect Mentality (ZDM) across the supply base. • Provide strategic input and decision-making support through strong technical expertise and business acumen within the precision machining category. • Build and strengthen cross-functional and external partnerships (suppliers, customers, engineering, manufacturing, purchasing) to improve quality and business outcomes. • Enable suppliers to achieve Right First Time manufacturing by offering technical guidance and ensuring compliance with engineering standards and requirements. • Lead supplier audits, root cause analysis, and quality improvement plans, while coaching stakeholders and driving the use of Lean, Six Sigma, and industry-standard quality tools.
