Role Description The Detection team’s mission is to empower our engineers and customers to identify fraud and abuse. This team builds tools, infrastructure, and features that are core to the product and its machine learning capabilities. As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading solutions that directly impact user risk analysis and mitigation. Working with team members, you will continuously iterate and develop cutting-edge features that improve our detection capabilities. - Manage, grow and support a team of experienced engineers responsible for applications, tools, and infrastructure that drive our security products. - Work closely with engineers, scientists, stakeholders, and other domain experts to come up with and execute on unique solutions that contribute to detection and mitigation of fraud and automation. - Mentor and guide engineers to grow in skill and knowledge, allowing them to make the best decisions given the right tools and context. - Participate in code and architecture design, contribute to feature development, and maintain high quality standards via peer reviews and mentorship. Qualifications - 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering. - 2+ years of leading or managing engineering teams. - Extensive experience with Typescript or Python, familiarity with other languages like Rust, Go, or C++. - Understanding of distributed systems and scaled operations, ideally in the context of having built applications that scale to handle millions of requests per second. - Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker. - Demonstrated leadership skills in building a high-performing and highly engaged engineering team, preferably in geo-distributed orgs. Nice to Haves - Experience working with edge workers (Cloudflare Workers, Fastly Edge Compute or Akamai Serverless Compute). - Production level applications with Rust and or Golang. Role Description We are seeking a Business Development Manager (BDM) to play a pivotal role in growing and broadening the support base for our SIPP proposition within the UK financial adviser market. This is a senior, high-impact role combining new business origination with relationship deepening. This is a permanent role and geographic location is flexible (outside London), with a genuinely UK-wide remit. - Identify, prioritise and pursue new adviser relationships capable of delivering long-term, repeat SIPP business. - Actively manage and deepen relationships with existing key introducers, recognising that adviser-level engagement does not automatically translate into firm-wide support. - Build strong working relationships with advisers, paraplanners, research teams and support staff. - Apply sound judgement in targeting adviser firms, recognising where our proposition is well-differentiated and where it is not. - Support the business as proposition changes are introduced, including in commercial property SIPPs. - Manage and convert suitable non-advised enquiries in line with regulatory boundaries and internal policies. Qualifications - Proven experience in business development within the SIPP and adviser market is essential. - An established network of financial adviser contacts, with the ability and appetite to continually expand it. - Strong commercial judgement and the discipline to focus on high-value opportunities. - Clear understanding of regulatory requirements and boundaries. - Exposure to DFMs, national advice firms, banks and large adviser groups. - Experience handling non-advised pension enquiries. - Relevant professional qualifications (e.g. financial planning or pensions-related). Role Description The Business Development Manager will be the market and application expert for assigned products in the E-Fulfillment business portfolio. They will actively pursue new business opportunities within the largest e-Fulfillment accounts.
