Role Description This role offers a unique opportunity to influence immigration legal services and policy across a dynamic, mission-driven organization. As a Staff Attorney, you will provide technical legal guidance, develop rapid-response protocols, and deliver actionable insights to program teams navigating emerging immigration law and policy changes. You will collaborate with leadership and field teams to ensure compliance, design training materials, and support operational strategies that directly impact vulnerable populations. This position requires both strategic thinking and hands-on legal expertise, with the ability to manage multiple programs and respond quickly to evolving policy environments. The role is fully remote, with occasional domestic travel to support local offices, trainings, and program initiatives. - Provide technical legal assistance and guidance to internal teams and affiliates on emerging immigration policies and procedures. - Develop rapid-response materials, including advisories, templates, and model pleadings, to support field teams during policy changes. - Conduct trainings, coaching, and mentoring to enhance technical competencies across the network. - Monitor, analyze, and disseminate updates on immigration law, policy trends, and enforcement actions. - Collaborate with program leadership to develop legal tools, standards, protocols, and best practices. - Support program expansion and proposal development through legal expertise and technical guidance. - Represent the organization at community meetings, task forces, and public forums related to immigration law.
