Role Description We are urgently seeking a hands-on VMware Network Engineer to support a major nationwide datacenter hardware and infrastructure initiative. While this role is technically remote, it requires heavy, consistent travel to approximately 30 datacenters across the United States. The ideal candidate is a highly technical, hands-on engineer who is comfortable with a rigorous travel schedule (2-3 site visits per week). Due to the travel requirements, the candidate must live within close proximity to a major airport. Key Responsibilities - Imaging & Security: Secure and deploy images for VMware ESXi and Veeam Servers (Linux environments). - Network Connectivity: Establish and manage OPC ESXi Layer 3 (L3) local connectivity to OCC ESXi and Veeam hardware. - Remote Access: Configure secure remote access protocols for enterprise servers and storage systems. - Hardware Deployment: Install and provision VMware ESXi on new swing hardware within the OCC subnet (Server #2). - Backup Infrastructure: Build, configure, and deploy Veeam servers (Server #1) at mobile locations to function as local backup servers. Project Execution Phases - Pre-Cutover: Hardware staging, imaging, and initial configuration. - Outage Window: Active cutover, migrations, and connectivity execution. - Go-Live: Final validation, troubleshooting, and handover. Qualifications - Demonstrated hands-on experience in VMware (ESXi) engineering, installation, and network connectivity. - Strong experience building and configuring Veeam backup servers (Linux). - Deep understanding of Layer 3 connectivity, subnetting, and server/storage remote access configurations. • Conduct comprehensive investment and operational due diligence on fund managers and investment strategies, analyzing investment process, portfolio construction, risk management practices, operational controls, performance attribution, and legal/regulatory compliance. • Lead due diligence meetings and manager interviews across diverse strategies including hedge funds (long/short equity, credit, multi-strategy), private markets (private equity, real estate, credit, infrastructure), niche alternatives (litigation finance, royalties), and traditional long-only portfolios in both SMA and commingled fund formats. • Perform comparative analysis and peer benchmarking, evaluating investment managers against industry peers, relevant benchmarks, and existing platform offerings to contextualize findings and identify differentiation factors. • Prepare detailed due diligence reports and investment memos, documenting strategy assessments, risk factors, operational capabilities, and clear recommendations for presentation to investment committees and executive leadership. • Review and analyze investment materials, including pitch decks, DDQs, performance reports, risk disclosures, offering documents, and audited financials to prepare for manager meetings and identify key areas of inquiry. • Assess operational infrastructure and controls, evaluating fund administrators, prime brokers, custodians, valuation procedures, NAV processes, trade reconciliation, and back-office capabilities to identify operational risks. • Evaluate risk management frameworks, analyzing position sizing, portfolio construction, leverage usage, liquidity management, stress testing, and scenario analysis to assess downside protection and risk-adjusted return potential. • Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Sales teams, providing investment expertise to support contract negotiations, regulatory assessments, marketing materials review, and client education on strategy characteristics and risks. • Monitor existing manager relationships, conducting ongoing due diligence, performance monitoring, strategy drift analysis, and organizational change assessments to ensure continued alignment with investment objectives. • Provide market intelligence and industry education, delivering updates on investment trends, emerging strategies, manager developments, and regulatory changes to sales, marketing, and investment teams. • Build and maintain due diligence frameworks, developing standardized assessment criteria, scoring methodologies, peer comparison tools, and best practices for consistent and rigorous manager evaluation. • Support special projects including new strategy research, platform expansion initiatives, operational due diligence deep dives, manager transition planning, and investment policy statement development.

• Conduct comprehensive market analysis to ensure the competitiveness of compensation packages for all roles within the fund. • Design, implement, and manage annual compensation review processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry benchmarks. • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to gather relevant data and insights for compensation decision-making. • Provide guidance and support to senior management on compensation-related matters, including salary offers, promotions, and incentive programs. • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to compensation and benefits. • Conduct regular salary surveys and benchmarking to inform compensation strategy and decision-making. • Participate in the development and communication of total rewards programs to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
