Role Description Koniag Services, Inc., a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to support KSI and our government customer. The position is remote and requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Public Trust. The Instructional Designer will design, build, maintain, and improve high-quality, accessible online learning experiences for Head Start and Early Childhood Education professionals. This role is responsible for developing self-paced, role-based courses using Articulate Rise 360, Articulate 360, Moodle Workplace, and other approved learning tools. Principal responsibilities will include but are not limited to: - Course Design and Development: - Design, build, update, and maintain iPD courses using Articulate Rise 360, Articulate 360, Moodle Workplace, and related course development tools. - Translate SME-provided content into engaging online learning modules. - Develop self-paced, role-based, accessible, mobile-friendly courses for diverse adult learners. - Create interactive learning elements, including knowledge checks, assessments, and scenario-based activities. - Apply adult learning theory, learner-centered design, and competency-based learning principles to course development. - Review courses for clarity, flow, engagement, accuracy, accessibility, and alignment to learning objectives. - Course Catalog and Content Management: - Support the iPD course catalog, currently consisting of approximately 114 live course options. - Maintain catalog organization, course grouping strategy, taxonomy, metadata, tagging, naming conventions, templates, and version control. - Ensure course content remains current, accurate, and aligned with Head Start Program Performance Standards. - Recommend course refresh, modification, retirement, archival, and replacement decisions based on content age and learner data. - Use learner feedback and completion trends to improve course offerings over time. - Maintain reusable course templates, source files, content standards, and documentation. - Accessibility, Quality Assurance, and LMS Implementation: - Ensure courses are accessible, Section 508-compliant, and optimized for deployment in Moodle Workplace. - Conduct quality assurance testing across devices, browsers, user roles, and learning environments. - Package, publish, test, and troubleshoot Articulate Rise 360 and SCORM-based courses for LMS deployment. - Partner with the LMS Administrator to implement catalog strategy and course setup. - Identify and resolve course-related issues affecting navigation and accessibility. - Stakeholder and Cross-Functional Collaboration: - Partner with OHS, the Division of Comprehensive Services, and other subject matter experts. - Collaborate with SMEs to define learning objectives and validate content accuracy. - Support the creation of role-based learning pathways for Head Start and Early Childhood Education audiences. - Facilitate content reviews and feedback loops before publication. - Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and reviews. - Maintain documentation such as a Content Management Handbook and course development workflows. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Educational Technology, or a related field. - Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant professional experience. - Hands-on experience developing courses in Articulate Rise 360. - Experience using Articulate 360 tools to create interactive, accessible, self-paced online learning. - Experience building or maintaining courses in Moodle or a comparable learning management system. - Experience with instructional design models and adult learning theory. - Experience translating SME content into clear, engaging, accessible learning modules. - Experience with SCORM, H5P, video tools, and interactive content creation. - Experience conducting course quality assurance reviews and accessibility checks. - Experience collaborating with subject matter experts and technical teams. Requirements - Ability to obtain a Public Trust. - Strong knowledge of Articulate Rise 360 and Articulate 360 course development. - Strong knowledge of Moodle or Moodle Workplace course-building tools. - Ability to design accessible, self-paced, role-based digital learning for diverse adult audiences. - Basic HTML and CSS skills for content formatting and accessibility optimization. - Demonstrated understanding of Section 508 compliance requirements. - Strong written and oral communication skills. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Ability to manage multiple course development efforts and stakeholder reviews. - Ability to work effectively in an Agile project environment. • Prepare tenant improvement schematic floor plans as required by prospect tenants • Create renderings for building exterior and interior improvements • Prepare tenant improvement design and/or develop a set of drawings for permit • Prepare basic architectural construction details • Collaborate closely with tenants to ensure their spaces align with brand standards, functionality, and visual appeal • Establish and maintain design standards to ensure consistency across multiple locations • Transform existing pdf/jpg floor plans/site plans/designs into working CAD documents • Provide additional support to the leasing team as needed • Oversee budgeting, contractor negotiations, and cost-effective solutions to maintain project efficiency • Assist the Construction Team in monitoring project timelines and budgets • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in processing construction invoices, purchase requests, and orders • Create visually appealing presentations, marketing materials, and reports • Support branding efforts through high-quality graphic design work • Assist in updating and maintaining the Company website’s design as requested

• Organize, structure and lead the overall transformation project and strategy • Validate and develop ROI (Return on Investment) • Manage budget, planning, staffing, stakeholders, communication in and outside the project team, define milestones and PPI/KPI • Set measure and targets for the transformation project execution, and transformation effectiveness against expected ROI and SQDC • Prepare steering committee and executive communication • Engage with the lean team to prepare and co-lead kaizens • Develop the plan, the needed process, documentation, governance and change management to allow to deploy the transformation in all GA Regions, and sustain the change • Pilot in selected GA Regions the defined transformations as soon as it is available • Arrange the specific interactions with the Salt Lake City project team to deploy the transformation in line with the Region (NAM) business challenges. • Apply lean concepts, and leverage state of the art technology, tool and process in the domain of DFX, AI and R&A (Robotics & Automation).
