Role Description We are a Web3 infrastructure platform hosting tens of thousands of blockchain nodes, ensuring stable, secure, and decentralized network operations. - 120+ supported networks (Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, Cosmos, Avalanche, and others) - 99.99% uptime - Own bare-metal infrastructure - No shared nodes and no third-party RPC providers - We build large-scale distributed infrastructure where network architecture is a critical part of overall platform reliability and performance. • Act as network design authority for new office builds and major refits • Partner with Facilities and Construction teams during site selection, design development, construction and pre-handover phases • Translate business, occupancy, and growth requirements into scalable Cisco campus designs • Design and approve structured cabling systems • Design and deploy Cisco Catalyst 9000 campus architectures • Validate carrier handoffs and DEMARC extensions • Participate in global on-call rotations supporting enterprise office networks

• Routing Engineering: Design and implement advanced BGP policies (Path Selection, Community strings, Filtering) to optimize multihoming and peering traffic across multiple IXPs. • MPLS and VPNs: Design, configure, and maintain the MPLS core, including LDP/RSVP-TE and deployment of L3 VPN services (VRF) and L2VPNs (VPLS/VPWS) for enterprise customers. • Optimization and QoS: Perform Traffic Engineering (TE) using RSVP-TE to ensure deterministic paths and apply QoS policies (DiffServ over MPLS) to prioritize critical services (Voice and Video). • Resilience: Implement high-availability and fast-convergence mechanisms such as BFD (Bidirectional Forwarding Detection) and MPLS FRR (Fast Reroute) to meet stringent SLAs (five nines). • Edge Technologies: Manage edge routers (Provider Edge - PE) and CGN (Carrier-Grade NAT) solutions, and design IPv6 transition strategies (Dual Stack or DS-Lite). • Level 3 Troubleshooting: Lead resolution of complex incidents involving packet loss, microbursts, high latency, and protocol failures (BGP session flapping, OSPF/IS-IS adjacency issues).

Hanover Technology Group is hiring a Sr Network Engineer for our Data Network Services team in our Worcester, MA office or remote work location. POSITION OVERVIEW: Primarily responsible for the engineering, installation, configuration, security, performance, maintenance, monitoring, and support of our ADC load-balancing environment, with secondary responsibilities in typical networking areas. This is a fulltime, exempt position. IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL PRIMARILY: - Support our Application Delivery Controller (ADC) load-balancing environment as a dedicated member of the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team. - Deliver ADC solutions as needed to further the integration of the IAM program throughout the technology landscape. Primary Responsibilities: - ADC Policy Development and Support (Access and Request) - ADC script programming - ADC OAuth & SAML Integrations - Maintain ADC documentation, drawings, and as-builts - Crosstrain other members of the networking team. IN THIS ROLE, YOU COULD ALSO SECONDARILY: - Engineer, configure, implement, monitor, maintain, troubleshoot, upgrade, patch, and secure network infrastructure components. - In collaboration with our MSP, troubleshoot and resolve networking infrastructure and equipment problems, including configuration, hardware, and software problems, in a timely and effective manner. - Rack and install equipment in datacenters and colo-facilities. - Collaborate and coordinate with telecommunications providers, vendors, and partners. - Use Visio to create and maintain detailed network drawings at the ISO Layers 1, 2, & 3 level. - Participate in change management meetings. - Recommend upgrades, enhancements, and other technology-debt remediation efforts. - Drive Technology Services Lifecycle Management activities related to vulnerability and configuration management. - Create SOPs, plans, and other documentation to aid with knowledge transfer to other engineers. - Serve as network technology SME and 3rd level escalation support for other engineers, teams, and business personnel. - Teach, train, and mentor peers and colleagues on network infrastructure principles and practices. - Make difficult decisions under pressure, balancing the need to gather detailed information and perform analysis, with the need for timeliness. - Participates in and promotes co-operative working relationships across organizations including knowledge sharing and partnership in achieving solutions. - Stay abreast of changes in the IT networking industry. - May be required to work onsite, and during off-hour maintenance windows. - May be required to provide off hours support including nights and weekends. WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY: - Extensive experience with industry-leading ADC load-balancing products, their policies, and their internal scripting language/programming. - Experience working with a team of network engineers and operations members possessing various levels of experience from junior through senior level. - Experience working with Managed Services resources with offshore personnel including the coordination and tracking of deliverables. - Experience leading through teaching and mentoring. - Must have excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Project management, and time management skills. - Experience with enterprise change management practices. - Familiarity with ITIL service management frameworks and practices. - Ability to work in a highly collaborative and highly matrixed, fast-paced, entrepreneurial, transparent, and flexible work environment. - Ability to build strong insightful relationships quickly; must have top-notch communication skills (oral and written); must be able to network effectively at all levels but especially at the executive and business partner level. TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED: - Must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship (ie. must be a US citizen or Greencard holder) - 8-10 years of professional experience in IT network engineering and operations. - Must have 5+ years of hands-on experience with industry-leading ADC platforms including load-balancing capabilities, script programming, access policy development, and other associated policy development. - Understanding of LAN and WAN technologies, protocols, and designs. - Experience with Cisco Catalyst and Nexus routing and switching platforms, including IOS, IOS-XE, and NX-OS operating systems, and common HA and redundancy features. - Experience with Cisco ACI fabrics and infrastructure. - Experience with Aruba Wireless Networking. - Experience with Citrix NetScaler VPN. - Experience with Infoblox grids. - Experience with common LAN/WAN routing protocols including (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, and others) - Familiarity with Cloud based networking in Azure. - Familiarity with Linux and Windows Operating Systems - Familiarity with foundational enterprise technologies such as DNS, DHCP, PKI, LDAP, Syslog, and Monitoring systems.
