Network Engineer, Data Center Infrastructure and Services
Iron Mountain
• Deploy and turn up Juniper EX/QFX, Arista 7020/7280, and Ciena platforms in EVPN/VXLAN spine-leaf fabrics• Troubleshoot BGP/IS-IS underlay and EVPN/VXLAN overlay control-plane and data-plane issues• Perform fabric expansions, capacity planning, and performance tuning in live production environments• Create and maintain network diagrams, runbooks, and configuration standards for repeatable deployments• Work directly with Security, Critical Facilities (BMS), and application teams to integrate data center services into the fabric• Rack, cable, and commission network hardware in data center environments
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in data center or service provider network environments
- Prior hands-on experience with VXLAN/EVPN in a spine-leaf or Clos data center fabric
- Strong operational experience with BGP or IS-IS as an underlay routing protocol
- Deep understanding of Ethernet, optics, and data center physical layer design
- Experience troubleshooting underlay/overlay convergence and control-plane behavior
- Experience with Juniper and/or Arista data center switching platforms
- US Citizenship Strongly Preferred
- Experience with network automation (Python, Ansible, Netmiko, Nornir, Nautobot, etc.)
- JNCIP-DC, CCNP Data Center, or equivalent
- Experience working in multi-site or global data center environments

POSITION OVERVIEW: Primarily responsible for the engineering, installation, configuration, security, performance, maintenance, monitoring, and support of our ADC load-balancing environment, with secondary responsibilities in typical networking areas. This is a fulltime, exempt position. IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL PRIMARILY: - Support our Application Delivery Controller (ADC) load-balancing environment as a dedicated member of the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team. - Deliver ADC solutions as needed to further the integration of the IAM program throughout the technology landscape.
