Role Description Pyyne is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to work as a consultant out of our South American Office. This is a high-impact role for Pyyne as we expand our collaboration with one of our most important North American clients. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the client’s cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, scalability, and reliability. You will work closely with Engineering teams and your DevOps team members to deliver a consistent and high-quality SaaS experience to the client’s customers. A successful candidate in this role is a proactive problem-solver with a background in systems engineering, cloud technologies, and infrastructure as code. Key Responsibilities - Contribute heavily to an ongoing LAMP modernization project upgrading from PHP 5.6 to 8, MariaDB to Galera Cluster, and Virtual Machines to Kubernetes environments using Helm charts. - Design, deploy, and manage performant, scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure to host SaaS products. - Develop and maintain processes for cloud resource provisioning, configuration, and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible, as well as scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, and Python. - Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering and IT personnel to optimize application deployment and performance, integrating IaC practices into the CI/CD pipeline using GitHub Actions. - Document technical procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for networks, systems, and devices. - Specific duties and responsibilities may be requested depending on company needs without changing the general nature and scope of the job or level of responsibility. Role Description The Senior DevOps Engineer is an advanced engineering position responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting automation, deployment, monitoring, and operational reliability across cloud and hosted application environments, with expertise in applying AI to optimize platform operations.
