VP, Senior Asset Manager

• Establishing and forecasting collateral/residual values for equipment lease transactions, including researching and analyzing technological trends and developments affecting residual exposure • Working with the Sales Team to understand customer needs and requirements through conversations, data mining and industry publications • Researching and evaluating new target markets and equipment types for Verdant Commercial Capital to pursue • Sales, renewals, and early terminations of equipment under lease, including remarketing of off-lease and repossessed equipment into the secondary market • Working to maximize gains on sale of equipment • Conduct residual/collateral research and analysis on potential equipment lease transactions. • Evaluate future value and residual risks, make residual recommendations, and prepare written residual analyses supporting recommendations on transactions • Assist in the development of residual matrices, policies, and controls for vendor-based programs as needed • Manage sales, renewals, and early terminations of equipment under lease, including remarketing of off-lease equipment • Develop and manage remarketing channels for all equipment types • Provide effective remarketing of equipment to assure that maximum proceeds are obtained from disposition of equipment • Maximize gains on sale for all end of lease activity • Complete other asset management-related projects as necessary

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum five years of specific experience in the vendor finance area, preferably with a top leasing company, bank, or financial institution
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management abilities
  • Able to handle a wide diversity of tasks on a daily basis
  • An independent self-starter with a proactive approach who will not require extensive supervision to get “up and running,” and who will be able to function autonomously.
