Your role at DynatraceBindplane is Dynatrace's focused, fast-moving product for unified OpenTelemetry-based observability, giving enterprises a single place to collect, process, and route telemetry data across complex environments. As a Senior PM, you'll own product execution across two core areas as the team and product grow. You'll translate a dynamic roadmap into shipped, high-quality product, working closely with engineering, design, and go-to-market to deliver real outcomes for SREs, platform engineers, and security teams. This role combines meaningful ownership with the backing of Dynatrace's research organisation, cross-R&D community, and career framework. What you'll do - Lead execution of the product roadmap across your two areas, translating strategy into shipped features and measurable outcomes on a consistent cadence. - Collaborate day-to-day with engineering to plan, scope, sequence, and unblock delivery, including in AI-assisted development cycles. - Write clear requirements, define acceptance criteria, maintain the backlog, and make considered prioritisation calls across competing demands. - Discover and validate opportunities by combining customer feedback, usage data, and market analysis, building on Bindplane's OpenTelemetry-native strengths. - Work with design to develop user flows and prototypes for pipeline configuration, routing, and fleet management experiences. - Lead pre-release activities, early-adopter programmes, beta feedback, and sales input — to iterate toward general availability. - Partner with product marketing and GTM to shape messaging, define launch plans, and enable sales, support, and customer success on new capabilities. - Anticipate risks, develop mitigation plans, and keep delivery on track as scope and team size grow. - Represent the product externally, including with customers, partners, and at events. What will help you succeed - 5 or more years of product management experience, with a track record of shipping product based on research, data, and industry trends. - Familiarity with observability, telemetry, or cloud-native technologies (OpenTelemetry, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure/GCP) you don't need to be an expert, but you'll ramp quickly. - Experience taking features to market: go-to-market plans, KPIs, and enabling sales and customer success. - Enough technical depth to engage productively with engineers on trade-offs, and strong communication that adapts to executive, end-user, and engineering audiences. - Genuine curiosity about customers, you think in use cases and outcomes, not just features. - Exposure to AI-assisted or agentic development cycles is a plus. We know not everyone will meet every requirement. If you're excited about this role and bring relevant experience, we'd still love to hear from you. Why you will love being a Dynatracer - Dynatrace is a leader in unified observability and security. - We provide a culture of excellence with competitive compensation packages designed to recognize and reward performance. - Our employees work with the largest cloud providers, including AWS, Microsoft, and Google Cloud, and other leading partners worldwide to create strategic alliances. - You'll get to work at the forefront of innovation with Dynatrace Intelligence—the industry's first agentic operations system. Bringing together deterministic and agentic AI, it helps teams understand what's happening, why it matters, and what to do next— automatically. - Over 50% of the Fortune 100 companies are current customers of Dynatrace. Compensation and RewardsDOE, salary $133K - $199K, plus Health, Dental, Life, STD, LTD, 401K, PTO. Total compensation may vary depending on candidate experience/education and location.
Role Description We're looking for our first product hire to be the link between strategy and engineering. You'll work closely with the founders on product vision and be the person that owns and enforces the product roadmap. You'll build our product operating system from scratch: how we prioritize, how requests flow from customers to engineers, and how work gets scoped, sequenced, and delivered. This is an opportunity to define how a category-winning product gets built. What you'll do - Own the product roadmap — translate company goals into sequenced, specced work and manage priorities to maximize growth - Write concise specs for the engineering team and build the systems for how the roadmap gets executed effectively - Partner with engineering leadership to design and implement core product functionality - Stay close to customers and own the intake funnel for all feature requests to make the yes / not now / no calls - Price deal-driven asks before commitments are made, and arm the sales motion with what's possible, what's coming, and what's ruled out - Identify, research and even build MVP/POC products to assess new product/expansion opportunities Qualifications - 3-6 years in product roles, including experience leading a roadmap - Early-stage startup experience, or experience in payments, fintech or financial infrastructure is a plus - A track record of shipping with small engineering teams: you've run sprints, written specs engineers actually used, and defended a roadmap to multiple stakeholders - Demonstrated judgment on saying no: you can walk us through features you killed, requests you declined, and how you kept the customer anyway - Strong written communication and the ability to turn ambiguity into clear, short documents - Comfort with technical depth: you don't need to code, but you need to hold your own in architecture and sequencing conversations Requirements - Competitive compensation and equity package - Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship - We are a remote-first team, but candidates must be based in the U.S.
