Tax Manager, Wealth Management

• Review complex individual tax returns (Form 1040), simple trusts (Form 1041), and simple business returns (Forms 1065, 1120S). • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with federal and state tax laws. • Supervise and mentor staff preparing returns, providing technical guidance and quality control. • Lead tax planning engagements for individuals and small business owners. • Advise clients on financial planning strategies, including asset protection, succession planning, and retirement optimization. • Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to deliver holistic solutions. • Manage multiple client relationships and engagements simultaneously. • Monitor deadlines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure timely and efficient service. • Participate in business development efforts and identify opportunities to expand services with existing clients. • Serve as a role model and coach for junior staff. • Contribute to internal training and development initiatives. • Support the evolution of the 1040 Transformation Project and related strategic initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • CPA preferred; EA considered.
  • CFP certification or willingness to obtain CFP preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in individual tax, trusts, and small business returns.
  • Proven track record in client consulting and tax planning.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with clients.
  • Proficiency in tax software and technology platforms.

This position will interface with personnel at various levels of the Company including regional finance teams as well as external partners. Primary responsibilities include actively managing computation of quarterly and year-end US income tax provisions and effective tax rate as well as related income tax disclosures in our consolidated financial statements. This position will also play a key role in supporting international tax processes including transfer pricing, compliance, reporting, forecasting, tax planning, audits by governmental authorities, and process improvements.
