Role Description The Department Operations Analyst will be a member of a fast-moving business analytics support team – responsible for driving reporting and building data visualizations. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams and deliver key, data-driven insights to business leaders across the organization. The ideal candidate will be strategic, analytical, detail-oriented, and a self-starter. They should have experience using Google Analytics 4 and data visualization software to present data as approachable, effective visual stories that will be used to drive business goals. - Create regular and ad-hoc reports to communicate data-driven insights and present findings to stakeholders through visualizations, presentations, and reports - Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover insights, identify trends and anomalies, surface themes and analyze unstructured, qualitative data - Conduct structured intake sessions with business owners to uncover decision needs, define key questions, and translate them into measurable metrics and simplified visuals that non-technical users can grasp - QA and manage all deliverables provided to business leaders, designing accessible dashboards that enforce consistent standards, setting refresh schedules, and providing data dictionaries - Identify areas of opportunity for improved process and visualization enhancements.
